Look at what Lisa Lee created on her new Art Square board from Inchie Arts . . .

by Lisa Lee, Inchie Arts
A designer for a couple of other companies commented that Lisa could add eyes and beaks to make birds, put teeny phrases inside the shapes to make comment bubbles, and/or add waterspouts and eyes to make whales.

I'm going to share pics of amazing watermelon art. You read it correctly . . . watermelon art! I think you'll be amazed as well!

Deb Kuttel, you'll have to try making this one!

Be sure to stop in at Art 'n Soul this weekend. Helene Metivier of Magenta is teaching 2 classes on Saturday and 1 class on Sunday. If you weren't able to register for any of these classes, you can at least take a peek and see what they're learning. And you might find some new Magenta stamps at the store to add to your collection of beautiful fine art rubber stamps from Art 'n Soul. I wish I could join in but I have a family event . . . it's the 4th Annual Bumpy's Car Show in downtown Puyallup, honoring my late brother-in-law, Paul Gaetz, who lost his battle against a brain tumor in 2009. In addition to the Car Show all day, we'll be selling raffle tickets, t-shirts, manning a Beer Garden, etc., to raise additional money to contribute towards the fight against cancer.

I'll probably see you here in the latter part of Sunday!
