Best of all, Dianne will demo making a box to hold a set of cards using the Envelope Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers. It's a fantastic and easy way to make a card set gift for the holidays, for birthdays, etc. She'll have a great video to show as well that she can direct you to for assistance when you're at home making these wonderful card boxes.
I had 2 birthday cards to make a short while ago; one for an adult and one for a small child.
This first card is a 3-D card made with a foil Die Cut sheet from Dufex Crafts. You've seen them at the Puyallup Stamp Show and now they're going to be available at Art 'n Soul very soon! I love the patina from the foil that helps make it look vintage. I wish the photo could detail how pretty this card really is.

Supplies used:
- 6.5 x 5.0 card base in Ivory
- Stardream Cover Card Stock in pale pink as base for die cut and trimmed
- Wood butterfly embellishment from Studio Calico
- Pink adhesive-backed pearls from Mark Richards
- Glossy Accents by Ranger to cover butterfly and pearls
- Dufex Craft Products' Die Cut "Paintbox Poppets"
- 3-M Foam Mounting Tape
- IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko Delicata Pigment Ink in Golden Glitz, softly applied around the base card edges with an InkBlusher
- IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko Versafine Archival Pigment Ink in Vintage Sepia
- Word stamp from A Muse Artstamps (Little Lady 9-8298C)
The second card features a stamp from Hero Arts.

It was fun to layer two different colors of Memento Luxe inks using the same stamp. I think it works really well when you have a solid image stamp that uses shadowing for depth as Hero Arts did. I applied GooseBumps to the stamped image with an InkBlusher for added texture and shimmer.
Supplies Used:
- 6.5 x 5.0 card base in Ivory
- Medium gray tone floral design paper (cut 6.0 x 4.5) and adhered to card base
- Very light tone pale blue floral design paper (cut 5.75 x 4.25) and punched twice with Heritage Corner punch from We R Memory Keepers
- Hero Arts Stamp: Painted Flower K5767
- IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko Memento Luxe Pigment Ink in Rhubarb Stalk and Rose Bud (stamp the darker color first; allow to dry; stamp the lighter color); Brilliance Pigment Ink in Moonlight White that covers the banner wood piece
- Micron Pen in black (03) from Saukura to hand print 'happy birthday'
- IMAGINE Crafts GooseBumps in Shimmer and InkBlusher
- Gray textured ribbon from May Arts taped to the stamped paper
- Hat Pin from Webster's Pages stuck into top of wood banner embellishment from Studio Calico
- Zot adhesive dots on backside of banner embellishment to adhere to the ribbon
That's all for now. I'm excited for today . . . Turquoise Tuesday specials, Dianne's demo and Patti's Christmas Book class tonight. There's something good about Tuesday this week at Art 'n Soul!
Wow Debbie, really beautiful cards!! I love them!
