Season of Thanks

September 24th, 2013 by sally
"Hi Everyone! Fall is fast approaching, so I thought I would give you a super simple idea for a fall card. I started with a cream notecard and randomly stamped the images from Scattering Leaves in gorgeous fall colors. The patterned paper is from the Persimmon 6×6 pad. I used the “season of thanks” message, but by changing the message, this card can be a general fall card or a Thanksgiving card. The brown twine enhances the fall look.

Yesterday we enjoyed a walk around Chelsea. We saw the church where Charles Dickens married.

We walked through Bolton Gardens, a very high-end neighborhood. The first 2 photos are each an individual home.

The home below has a corner front yard that is quite large (from the front of the house on the right to the far left). If you only knew how unique it is to have a yard, let alone this!

And this is the building that houses the Royal British Society of Sculptors! I wish we would have had time to go in and visit! Just goes to show you there are, indeed, organizations for everyone and everything.

Today we are off to Grosvenor Square and Picadilly. Marco's office is in Picadilly and the U.S. Embassy is in Grosvenor Square . . . we must make a visit to obtain emergency passport replacements because my purse went missing last Friday afternoon.

We've been blessed with beautiful fall weather. The internet service has been spotty and even though the hotel provides wi-fi, it is unreliable, spotty and has the speed lower than a tortoise going backwards!
