The song 'Let It Snow" has been taken too literally in westernWashington. Now, if it's not snow, it's ice. And if it's not ice, it's wind. Any of these combinations are wreaking havoc on all of us . . . stores remain closed (including us); people remain homebound; transportation has come to a stand-still unless absolutely necessary; and now folks are experiencing power-outages with no relief in site. (Does this remind anyone of that horrible ice storm we suffered in the 1990's when power took more than a week to return and the temperatures remained freezing?)

I haven't been able to get back to the store to
update this message on the store's front door . . . the "hope to be back on . . . "
keeps changing daily . . . we're just as anxious to re-open as
you are to shop! Hang in there!

Our drive to SeaTac late morning on Wednesday; it was
treacherous all the way to Fife where we finally
found some lanes that had been scraped by WSDOT.
Even then, it wasn't an easy drive!

A pic from Laurie G!

watching them de-ice the plane from my window;
sounded like I was going through a car wash

these are not black & white photos; it just shows
you how gray the day was at SeaTac on Wednesday

they actually found some ice to break off down my window;
the de-icing fluid is pink if you're wondering where
the pink coloration came from

Marj is having a Block Party class on Sunday, February 19, from 1:00 to 3:30 in the afternoon.

by Marj Marion for her "Block Party" class on February 19
This is one of 3 pieces to a vignette set . . . just adorable!

You'll want to see the class board in person at the store; of course, that will result in your immediate want and need to sign up for Marj's class.

From Graphic 45, a sneak peek at their new release  . . .

Penny Black's blog features another gorgeous sample using their Brushstroke Stamps.

Today’s card by Peet Roeven is another example of the beautiful things you can do with Penny Black Brushstroke Stamps. Peet created a shaped card using die cuts and ‘fussy-cut’ our “Rose Heart” stamp as her focal point;

by Peet

It's bedtime for Bonkers. Tomorrow, I'm hoping to jump onto Highway 10 westbound and find a store in Ontario, CA.
