Hello Fabulous G45ers!

Happy Wednesday and welcome to our blog today! We are so glad you're joining us because today is going to be amazing! The wonderful Nancy Wethington of our design team has created some awe-inspiring crafts for the holidays that you're sure to adore! She's even included a fun video tutorial that includes some amazing tips! So get ready to soak up some holiday bliss with these three gorgeous holiday crafts!

If you are a regular on our blog you're familiar with Nancy Wehtington's amazing crafting talents. She's also a gifted teacher! Recently Nancy taught a class on how to make the altered art box and coordinating book shown below at Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion Christmas Workshops. Here is what Mary Engelbreit has to say about Nancy: "And of course our teachers are the best. New this year, Nancy Wethington, who proved to be a worthy contender for “Teacher Of The Year,” if we held such a contest, which of course we don’t." Such glowing accolades for our beloved Nancy! Check out this gorgeous and festive Christmas Emporium altered art box that is sure to get you in the holiday spirit too!

Here we have a stunning and clever Christmas Tag Tree! This is a wonderful example of some very imaginative thinking! There are so many ways to turn an ordinary object into a holiday gem with a little creative thinking! This would also be a wonderful way to display your holiday cards from family and friends! Nancy even included a fun tutorial with this project so that you can create one of your very own! What fun!
"A while back, while antiquing, I found this extra large spool. It followed me home and promptly rolled down the steps into my craft room where it has resided for 2 years. I decided it would make a good base for a primitive Christmas tree and proceeded to cover the center with Graphic 45's Christmas Emporium. My husband drilled holes for small dowels that would fit into the larger *tree trunk* and a tree was born. The only other thing it needed to become a Christmas tree were some Graphic 45 Christmas tags. Very simple, but hopefully, effective." -Nancy Wethington

Team Graphic 45

It was another glorious day. We started with a lite breakfast at the B&B in Saint-Tropez, drove through the town, and headed up the sea road again to Cannes. Made it to Cannes and drove up to Grasse for lunch, and back to Cannes for the night. Tom went to look at the big boats at the marina; I went shopping and found out my camera had a dead battery. We just cannot stay away from this shangri-la.

Our morning in Saint-Tropez

Between the high-speed wi-fi and Google's blog service, my pic downloads are excruciatingly slow and I must go to bed. So I'll try again in the morning before we head to Monaco . . . think HRH Prince Albert will be home? I don't have the appropriate attire to join the royal couple for lunch; if we're asked, we'll have to politely decline. C'est la vie!
