Stunningly Beautiful Cards for a May Magenta Class with Helene

Art 'n Soul students are going to want to sign up IMMEDIATELY for Helene's Magenta classes in May. These are 4 cards you will be making in one of her two classes; all 4 cards use varying techniques to make something exquisite out of something already beautiful! Take a look at this sample that I'm sure you won't correctly guess what the background material is  . . . I can't wait to see what magic Helene whips up for her second class!

How lucky are we that Helene has chosen to return to Art 'n Soul in May, bringing her magical creativity to share with us.

The latest order from Pan Pastels arrived yesterday. If you didn't have a pink sheet awaiting the delivery, then you better de-ice the driveway and get to the store asap. It seems we cannot keep this new art medium on the shelf for very long; in fact, we may have to put their FAX line for orders on 'speed' dial!

From the Graphic 45 blog . . . OMG, this is one of the most gorgeous 'gift card holder' projects I have ever seen. Of course, Graphic 45 Design Team Member, Gloria Stengel, is the inspirational creator . . .

This next marvelous creation was made by Gloria Stengel. Have a look at this breathtaking gift card holder that Gloria made using our Curtain Call collection and beautiful May Arts ribbons. Gloria's creation is so stunning and loaded with so many gorgeous details. It's just perfect!

Curtain Call Gift Card Holder
"I am always looking for clever ways to present gift cards and this fun 3x6 inch "booklet" is perfect for holding a standard sized gift card! I cut two pieces of chipboard to 3x6 inches and covered them with Graphic45 paper. For the inside pages, I cut a sheet of Curtain Call paper to 10 3/8 x 5 1/2 inches. The paper is scored at 2 1/2, 5 1/2, and 7 3/4 inches. I tucked the gift card into a Graphic45 Envelope Tag Staples, which I attached to one of the inside pages. To hold the booklet closed, I glued some lengths of May Art ribbon to the back cover, and wrapped them around the book to secure it closed." -Gloria Stengel
