Magenta sent an email today that our order has been shipped out, so we should be seeing the 'new' goodies by Thursday . . . or Friday at the latest. Be sure to stop in right away to get your best selection of the Magenta chipboards that we ordered.

  • An extra large quantity of the 12x12 snowflake tags chipboard and the 8.5x11 corkboard of the birds and branches were ordered.
  • 10 of the 12x12 chipboard of birds was ordered.

You either have a friend who is a true wine connoisseur or you don't know what to send as a gift to a friend with who has everything. In both scenarios, a bottle of wine is always a welcome gift. Friends of mine purchase grapes from Walla Walla, Washington with several other folks, and then spend 2 days bottling gallons and gallons of wine. This 2007 crop was bottled in 2009. For her birthday, I made wine labels for her wine bottles and added last-minute bottle gift tags; next year, I think more effort can go into these gift tags and they would be darn awesome! All of the embossing was done with Ranger Queen's Gold and Silver embossing powders.

It's so easy to do. Cut an 8-1/2" x 11" piece of card stock in half, vertically. Make sure you use either two-sided paper or a card stock that is the same on both sides because you will see the backside if you turn the bottle around. Score along the 11" length at 8-1/4" and 5-1/4" (put the "mountain or hill" of your score to the inside of your fold -- therefore, you will neeed to score the 8-1/4" so the fold comes down the front side -- and score the 5-1/4" " so the fold goes up the backside). Use your Spellbinder circle nestabilities set and use the 3rd smallest circle die centered in the middle of the two folds for the bottle neck.

There was only one of this Inkadinkado stamp for sale at the store as of Saturday.

Magenta stamp and peel-offs

Magenta Stamp

Such a cute stamp from Outlines Rubber Stamps

Word stamp is from Magenta

The snowflake and small snowflakes are
Magenta peel-offs; the tree stamp is from
Impression Obsession.

The Label
I printed the information on the printer, and then using a stamp positioner,
I figured out where the stamp needed to go by using the ruler measurements
across the top to center the stamp horizontally, and used the ruler
measurements aong the side to determine the vertical position
by aligning a measurement with the "2007" line. It seemed daunting at first,
but it was rather quick to do after stamping the image a couple of times.
