Always Something Going on at Art 'n Soul

It's Thursday . . . and I'm still looking for Tuesday! Is it under the Christmas tree?

Before I delivered my contribution to the Christmas Card collection for Mother Joseph's Care Center, I took a few pics so you could see some very easy and quick card ideas for those last-minute holiday cards. Kudo's to Olympa Paper Dolls for taking the time to collect hand-made cards for the patients at Mother Joseph's. Our friend, Sam Lee who is also a member of the Olympia Paper Dolls and did her share for Mother Joseph's, individually made 90+ hand-made holiday cards for the residents at Roo Lan Convalescent Center as well. Think how much "merrier" the holidays will be for the card recipients, especially those who do not have family or friends nearby -- it's ALWAYS nice to be remembered at Christmas!

My favorite reindeer stamp . . . Savvy Stamps

Magenta Poinsettia (large) is THE best one for everything, including embossing!

The May Arts ribbon order arrived yesterday . . . restocked a few ribbons, added the little Red Christmas Stocking cut-out ribbon (love those little itty-bitty socks!), and some velvets and a gorgeous pink velvet ribbon edged in lace.

wish I knew how to arrange ribbon displays better!

Paper Parachute's quick paper order arrived as well . . . of course, the paper is gorgeous even if some are only a re-order! But, look at that blue . . . and you know Paper Parachute supplies us with THE best gloss paper in those beautiful muted shiny tones!

Students who took Lisa Lee's Holiday Inchie Class really really really! liked the square template she used to make a quick and easy impression for a subtle background on the card for the inchie boards. We looked them up and here they are. Susie is taking pre-orders cos' we want 'em NOW . . . these are the basic shape templates and you can order by coming into the store or calling us at 360.357.6820! Lisa used the Crafter's Workshop mini (6x6) Basic Square Template in the class. I think you'll want to order the 6x6 templates instead of the 12x12 size . . . and if you agree, you'll want to make sure an "s" is added to the product number. Not to confuse you, but the larger size template would make good Zentangle outlines for you to get all tangled up in!

Don't be left in the 'order dust' . . . you're going to want these, so please come on in . . . now!
