Pretty Christmas Gift Bags

Christmas cards are being collected by Art 'n Soul for residents of a local area convalescent center. If you have an extra card or groups of extra cards,, we welcome your contribution. Many of the residents do not have family living in the community and these cards let them know their "Secret Santa" knows who they are.

And, we are still collecting non-perishable food items for the Food Bank. Due to the continuing problems with the econmy, the Food Bank has been challenged to meet increasing demands . . . every little bit helps!

Patti Ritterhouse has been busy preparing for the holiday season. She makes quick and easy gift bags from the brown/white kraft paper bags you can purchase in bulk at Michael's; she then sells them for $2 at work and all of the proceeds go to United Way. She brought some in the other day and I just had to take pictures of them . . . perhaps you'll be enlightened and do something similar for your favorite charity, put together a supply of gift bags as a Christmas present, and/or make gift bags for your own holiday gifts.

Reindeer are from Spellbinder die cuts.

This SEI paper is still in stock . . . we've re-ordered 3 times!

Patti talked about how easy it is to do. One afternoon or evening, she set the paper she would use for each bag on the bag and had them all lined up for the next 'sit-down'.

There's some beautiful blue metallic paper going on the shelves tomorrow, and there are matching envelopes. And black metallic paper will be on the shelf as well.

I am now headed to snooze-ville . . . I don't think sleeping is going to be a problem tonight. Lullaby, and good-night!
