Spellbinder & Paper Parachute "Looks"

The Spellbinder Blog Frenzy continues to unveil beautiful designs from their new line of die-cuts. Here is a beautiful design by Linda Duke.

From Linda Duke, one of 16 Spellbinder Designers for the Spellbinder Blog Frenzy going on now:
"I’m thrilled to share the S4-294 Beaded Ovals. I have always loved the look of parchment craft, and thought the S4-294 Beaded Ovals was perfect for creating the look with vellum paper. I have a step-by-step tutorial to share how you can create this effect."

Go to this link to see the Spellbinder tutorial on this beautiful design by Linda Duke:  http://lindaduke.typepad.com/lindas_works_of_heart/ and scroll down to her July 15 blog entry. We can't wait for Spellbinders to make these new die cuts available for us to sell to you!

One of the new Paper Parachute stamps at Art 'n Soul (UMC 80) that we mentioned in our last blog entry and Paper Parachute papers have been used by Susie to create this gorgeous card while she was at the store today. Just think of all of the color combinations you could use to make this rubber stamp design come to life for someone special in your life.

Remember when I mentioned Marj Marion's next Spellbinder layering class on September 25? Here's a photo of one of the sample cards on the class board at the store:

Unfortunately, you cannot see the layering dimensions from the photo. But believe us when we tell you it's fabulous. You'll want to sign up early for this class because there is a list of sign-ups already. Call the store at 360.357.6820 with your name and credit card number if you can't make it into the store soon.

One last note. You should see the amazing "wish box" Susie made from Gloria's Wish Box class on Saturday. I forgot to ask for a photo to post, so you'll just have to come into the store and see it for yourself. Susie is thinking Art 'n Soul should have an "altered box" play day. Let us know what you think!

Thought:  So many play days, not enough days in the week!
