Where does the time go? More "new" at Art 'n Soul!

I cannot believe it's been since Tuesday that we last updated the blog . . . too many days to go without touching base, especially when we have so much going on!

The class sample book for the Alice in Spookland class (featuring the Halloween papers from Graphic 45) on Sunday, August 1, is at the store. We hope that you will sign up for this fun class . . . 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 1 -- the cost is $35 per person. Here are a couple of images for you.

Paper from SEI arrived today . . . more velvet papers that include a couple of new colors and some new glitter paper . . . take a look:

We're ordering more prismatic and metallic paper and matching up the colors as best we can to what our stock has traditionally included; however, some of the names have changed so be sure to look at the actual paper when you see a color name you're not sure about.

Finally, we want to tell you how much fun Sam Lee, Sandra Gallo and I had on Wednesday at Paper Parachute's Christmas in July make-n-take in Hillsboro OR. Art 'n Soul is always represented at Paper Parachute events, and they are very generous in their promotion of the store as well. At this event, Paper Parachute introduced several new stamp designs and some new paper products.

Here are some of those new stamp sets from Paper Parachute that we brought back for ANS customers to look at and purchase . . .

There are new Christmas stamps and we'll post those in a couple of days. To go with those, Paper Parachute has also acquired some laser cut Christmas Tree card stock for your holiday stamping projects; wait until you see the sample of that one! I brought back some hologram papers. Next week we'll order the two new papers that were also introduced earlier this week.

Paper Parachute also listed events at the warehouse office for the remainder of the year. Even though Agi comes to Art 'n Soul to teach a class on October 23, these other events are worthwhile to attend if you can get to Hillsboro, OR. Just ask Gail, Sam, Sandra, Mary, or Laura! We have driving directions available at the store.

Finally, Sue and Deb have been busy re-arranging the ribbon by "type of ribbon" so you can easily see all of the colors available for that particular style of ribbon. There are now two main areas to find the ribbons, so be sure to browse through the entire store.
