My 1,111th post!

Oh my! The stars must be aligning. Penny Black is on open catalog status at Art 'n Soul and Penny Black just released their Fall 2014 catalog.

You might want to head on in to the store to place your "pink sheet" order . . . I'll be doing the same because I love that pumpkin tree stamp for Halloween, as well as several other stamps I saw.

On the Penny Black blog, Elizabeth Allen has made a very unique pocket card. Take a look . . .

Jill Foster has been busy, too! Look at these 3 beautiful holiday cards featuring this one Penny Black stamp. There is an instructional video in the blog posting.

Those RubberMoon stamps are disappearing. Here's a card that Susie made using RubberMoon stamps . . . I love how the leaf image that some would usually leave alone as the centerpiece has been used as a background for the sentiment.

These cards are sample cards from Magenta showcasing their recent release.

0690.L (Snowy Evergreens) & 07.888.G (If kisses were snowflakes)
Notice how they used a small snowflake for the letter "o" in
snowflakes? Very clever!

You may view the actual samples at Art 'n Soul! Even better, Magenta is on open catalog status and you may place your 'pink sheet' order. What's special about Magenta is their artwork in rubber stamps is exceptional which, in turn, makes your handmade cards stand out in their artistry.

Impression Obsession is enjoying a "Beautiful Stamped Background Challenge" featuring their background stamps. I really liked this card made with one of IO's cover-a-card background stamp designs.

And look at this card from Dina Kowal . . .

And here's a Halloween card from Kitty Caracciolo . . .

Marj Marion is selling some of her cards she has amassed over time. You will want to look through them because they're beautiful. She has packaged each one in a plastic sleeve with an envelope.

I took photos of a random sampling. They're beautifully handmade and these are cards that you'll want to offer for a special occasion (especially handy when you haven't had the time to make your own), and/or to use as a sample to make your own version.

It has taken from Monday thru today for a FedEx delivery from Graphic 45 that was at the local distribution center and loaded onto the delivery truck on Monday evening. The delivery happened because I have called every day; tonight, I stayed on the phone until they found it and I drove 30 miles to pick it up at the distribution center. This belongs to that series of photos entitled "they only had one job to do!"

Here it is . . . Graphic 45's "Raining Cats and Dogs" paper collection. So many of us are entwined with our four-pawed members of the household. I can think of so many ways to use these beautifully illustrated papers . . . and it doesn't always have to be with a cat or dog theme.

These will be at the store before 1:00 tomorrow.

It's time to finish this posting; I have a little more work to do in preparation for tomorrow . . . or should I say today! Dianne is at the store "today"!

  1. Wonderful blog, enjoyed by so many! Happy lucky 1111!

    1. thank you, Dianne! who would ever have imagined we'd reach 500 blog posts, let alone 1,111!
