The Magenta Naturalist Star Book & Hasty Lace

Before I forget, "Stamper's Sampler" latest issue is at the store. And "Vamp Stamp News" (aka VSN) arrived this afternoon. And those of you waiting for your Grand Caliber from Spellbinders can pick them up . . . they arrived today!

The Star Book class coming up this Saturday afternoon at Art 'n Soul is going to be one 'WOW' because Susie has outdone herself, as usual! The class this Saturday is full; however, don't despair because the store is keeping a list for another class, so call the store asap if you want to get in on the second class (date to be announced) . . . 360.357.6820!

In the Star Book, Susie has featured the stamps from one of our favorite lines, Magenta. Take a look . . .

Saturday's Hasty Lace class by Some-Assembly-Required's Sandy Jackson at the store this last weekend was a real learning adventure and fun. Drawn from the Pergamano Parchment Paper craft, Sandy modified the technique so it was less time-consuming with easier steps, and using vellum instead of parchment paper. She laser-cuts all of her own stencils. Here are a few samples of Hasty Lace . . .

We're hopeful that we'll be able to find a date this fall for Sandy's return for a "Snowflake" class at Art 'n Soul. Here's a pic of a snowflake that Sandy showed us . . . and we all said "gotta do another class!"

This design is enhanced with a specific glitter glue and extra-fine glitter.
I'm going to try this pattern using the small Swarovski crystals
from Paper Parachute or Outlines Rubber Stamp that we sell at the store.
Some of us are thinking it would be fun to start a monthly Hasty Lace Day at Art 'n Soul so we can start playing together using another craft. Please let us know what you think because we love hanging out with our ANS family & friends.

That's it for tonight. We've been busy at the store compiling orders and sending them in. That means that you'll be busy stopping into the store to pick up your orders, seeing what we ordered, and saying 'gotta have that' . . . we're all too familiar with that drill. Isn't it fun?

You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.
