The 2015 Northwest Paper Chase is on! Many stores and chasers are reporting that they had fun today, the first day. Art 'n Soul enjoyed the Paper Chasers who visited today and took advantage of the 20% one-time discount with their Northwest Paper Chase Passport.

Art 'n Soul's game is 'marbles.' In each take-'n-make pak, there are 5 pieces to a puzzle. If anyone finds that at least 3 of their 5 puzzle pieces actually fit together like they should, that person earns a free 6x6 paper pad from Authentique, one of the NWPC sponsors. Here's a photo of the marble puzzle . . .

And with a minimum $20 pre-tax, post-discount purchase with the NWPC Passport, chasers receive this charm. Does anyone remember rolling their glass marbles along anything they could find to use as a track?

Remember I told you Marj had planned a new class in April? Well, here's the photo of one of her sample cards . . . it's totally spring beautiful!

Card Sample for Fabulous Spring Florals Class on April 19
(see yesterday's blog post for details)
As we always say with Marj's classes, sign up early; we've already signed up eager students. You can stop in at Art 'n Soul or call us at 360.357.6820 to sign up.

We are getting really excited for Art 'n Soul's Birthday Party on June 14. We hope you've saved the date on your calendar and reserved the afternoon. Sandy Allnock is going to be at the party representing Art Impressions and the beautiful watercolor cards you can make. Sandy teaches for Copic Markers as well, and she is the coordinator for Operation Write Home. Now would be the perfect time to check your calendar to make sure the afternoon of June 14 is saved for Art 'n Soul!

Another beautiful card has shown up on Elizabeth Craft Designs' Facebook posting featuring two of their new Kimono and Cherry Blossom dies.

by Susan Tierney-Cockburn for Elizabeth Craft Designs
"In 1912 Cherry Trees, given as a gift of friendship to the People of the United States from the People of Japan were planted along the basin in Washington, D.C. The flowering cherry tree, or Sakura is honored with picnicking called Hanami in Japan, but seeing them along the basin is a sure sign Spring is coming...enjoy!"

Okay, I am going to sign off now. The computer or blog is acting up. You'd think I've been on it all day . . . not! After dropping off the Northwest Paper Chase kits and charms to Art 'n Soul this morning, I drove to Bremerton for a friend's memorial service. Thus, the computer had a nice long reprieve today.

Before I click off, the Graphic 45 Home Sweet Home paper collection arrived tonight, as well as the reprint of the Graphic 45 Botanical Tea paper collection that sold out last year. I'll post pics tomorrow night. The A2 embossed card panels in white and natural are also in. And the new washi paper designs from Aitoh are here. I hope to at least drive the Graphic 45 paper collections and the A2 card panels to the store tomorrow. Carolyn will be at the store all day tomorrow and is really looking forward to seeing you and meeting more Paper Chasers at Art 'n Soul.
