As I have taken a zen-doodling class with Sam Lee and Sharon Wolvin and taken a class on 'stendoodling™' from Lisa Lee with Inchie Arts, I have had nothing on my mind except the art of Zentangle and the various derivations. So I've been practicing and here's my latest work-in-progress. I'm in Spokane and only had a few Copic markers with me, so the color choices were very limited.

The stencils were from The Crafter's Workshop, Magenta, Memory Box and Dreamweaver Stencils. Some of the designs were zentangle patterns and some of the designs were made up to accommodate the small space. I love the freedom of combining all of these various techniques.

If you haven't signed up for Lisa Lee's Stendoodle™ Art class on December 13 at Art 'n Soul, please make it a point to sign up. You'll learn how to create some amazing designs, all with the use of stencils. Check the class schedule or stop by the store for more details.

Today (Saturday) is going to be another terrific day at Art 'n Soul. John Petersen will be at the store teaching the Prima Journal class, so be sure to stop in and see what's going on. There might be a few treasures from the Penny Black order that arrived today, so you'll want to check that out as well! And the next time you're at Art 'n Soul, please remember a donation for the Food Bank barrel; the last load was picked up and it's ready for more donations!
