Pam has been busy making these seriously gorgeous Christmas cards featuring some of the new stamps from Magenta.

by Pam Nelson
"I stamped the wreath in Versafine in Olympia Green, embossed with Kaleidoscope. I did the same with Merry Christmas. I stamped the Mistletoe stamp with Versamark and embossed with White Diamond. I colored the background of all three pieces using Distress Inks' Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn and Peacock Feathers." -- Pam

"I used the floral Magenta stencil on the background using Distress inks (Spun Sugar and Tattered Rose), I stamped the poinsettia and embossed with gold; colored with Mustard Seed in the center, Worn Lipstick and Festive Berries, covered them with VersaMark and embossed with Kaleidascope embossing powder; and cut out. I stamped and embossed the Merry Christmas sentiment. Stickles were used in the center of the poinsettias." -- Pam
You must come by the store to see these cards in person.

You know that Quick Release Die Paper that I talked about yesterday? And that you had better purchase it quickly because it's going to sell fast? I found these two videos to show you how fabulous this paper is . . . you not only have a 'tool' for easily popping out your intricate die cut pieces, you also get a beautifully decorated paper that is beautiful enough to use elsewhere.

Some folks have mentioned they saw the dryer sheet technique and that was sufficient. The dryer sheet is an okay fall-back to the Quick Release Die Paper when you're out of it. In my book, the Quick Release Die Paper offers totally clean cuts, a one-step technique to use (unlike counting out dryer sheets, folding them in half, etc.). I also get a second die cut piece to use on another project with the beautiful Quick Release Die Paper, unlike the dryer sheets.

So, do yourself a favor. Please buy the Quick Release Die Paper at Art 'n Soul . . . you'll never ever regret it! You might even want to use it just for the designer paper that it is!

It's been quite a long day . . . a quick drive to the store to drop off the Distress papers that were delivered last night and to add more holiday papers to the Discount Paper Box. After returning home, we drove to Spokane for my husband's annual meeting. Ordinarily, we stay in the main hotel where the conference rooms are. They're so busy, they put us up in a suite in the Hotel Tower, a block away. So now I am forced to shop tomorrow for a coat to wear to the dinner functions since we'll be walking outside . . . brrrrrr!

Pam is going to be at Art 'n Soul all day tomorrow (Thursday) . . . I know she'll be delighted to share with you how she made those beautiful handmade cards!
