It's a great time at Art 'n Soul right now. Things are really coming together for the Annual Christmas Party on Sunday, October 19 . . . watch for the announcement of who is going to be there!

A small Magenta order arrived today. There are 2 stamps left of this very popular image . . .

Magenta Stamp:  Flower by Geninne D. Zlatkis 86.010.G

You know what happens if you wait too long . . . Geninne's stamp designs are fabulous and always sell out.

From the Magenta blog, Ellie Knol features a beautiful stencil design on an ATC. There are 4 versions, so be sure to go to the blog posting because they are each very beautiful.

A new Halloween card class . . . "The Shadows of Halloween" on Saturday, October 25, from 12:30 to 2:45 p.m. You'll make 3 cards, one of which is a box card that you could also use for a Halloween decoration.

The box card is very difficult to photograph, so you'll just have to come into the store to see it for yourself after Monday.

Gloria Jean Walker is Art 'n Soul's featured Artist-of-the-Month. We are so very proud to display Gloria's stunning artwork. You really must take a few extra moments to view her artist display. Next week, I'll have photos of some of the work that is displayed at the store. I didn't have my camera with me today and the photos I took with my iPhone didn't turn out as well as I'd like.

It's time for me to turn in. We leave for Las Vegas in the morning because my husband wants to attend the Barrett Jackson Auto Auction. If you happen to watch this event on the cable channel for car enthusiasts, you'll see some amazing cars up for auction. I'll be back on Friday with an Artist-in-Residence posting for IMAGINE Crafts, partnering with Authentique Papers and May Arts Ribbons.

Be good to you . . . how? Come on over to Art 'n Soul and let us show you all sorts of ways to make your next artistic creation. We certainly appreciate your loyalty and support of our small, locally-owned and independent fine art rubber stamping store. You will never find the assistance, inspiration and enthusiasm at a big box store that we offer and love to provide at Art 'n Soul!
