Yay! The Fabriano Medioevalis folded cards, envelopes and single panel cards are at Art 'n Soul. Made in Italy by the Fabriano mill, Fabriano cards and envelopes are perfect for the 'very special' card presentation you want to make for that extraordinary person or treasured event. This is a mouldmade paper that is perfect for pen, pencil, charcoal, pastel, light washes, and stamping; the cards make excellent pages for handmade books, too.

Also at the store, more Memory Box A2-sized cards in various colors. The inside of the card is white which is perfect for your inside messages.

The one-layer card Play Day at Art 'n Soul was a very inspiring session. Sue Moffat made so many inspiring card designs. Check these cards out . . .

A work-in-progress using Magenta's templates

an aurora borealis in Iceland, her new favorite country!
You're welcome to look at these and other card samples 'up close and personal' at Art 'n Soul. We hope that these samples will inspire you to do the quick and easy one-layer card design.

If you're looking for ribbon that will exactly match your card colors, check this special ribbon from Ranger. It accepts water-based ink colors wonderfully . . .

This ribbon is located at the front demo table.

Lea Kimmel has made a beautifully colored card using a Dreamweaver Stencil design, stencil pastes and Copic markers. Check it out . . .

And this is another example of combining the inks from IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko with the Dreamweaver Stencils. Pam Hornschu has created this beautiful card by using the 'ink-stencil' technique. I think the over-all color design is gorgeous.

I love this card from the Memory Box blog that uses the Tremaine Square die.

I am sharing this photo from the Savvy Stamps' blog. I saw this blog posting and one other blog posting somewhere that mentioned the Koi Watercolor set. I've been looking for something very small and very compact for traveling . . . and this is it!

I ordered it and when it arrived, I was very pleased with the size, compactness, portability, and light weight. The only thing I will need to go with it is water to fill the watercolor pen brush. The pallet, brushes and colors all fit together very nicely and can fit in a small purse. My set has 24 colors and measures approximately 6.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches vertically. It is available through Notions by special order at the store.

The tray fits right on top of the colors; there are small pegs
under the corners that fit nicely into the base corner openings.

Mike's at the store again this afternoon (Sunday) and looks forward to seeing you.
