IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko & Stampendous "Celebrate Neon" Blog Hop

Stampendous and Imagine Crafts Header

Welcome to a week of fantastic collaboration between IMAGINE Crafts and Stampendous! We have to admit that our two companies were made for each other and we're proud to have shared a long relationship of working together.  After all, what are stamps without ink?  The projects created by our artists this week feature IMAGINE Crafts Radiant Neon™ inks paired perfectly with coordinating colors of Fran•táge Color Fragments from Stampendous, along with some of their newest stamp designs and Stack Art kits.

STM Imagine Crafts Prize Package

You can win 3 of the brand new Radiant Neon™ ink pads and 3 jars of our Color Fragments! We'll give away three prize packages (color is our choice) to U.S. Mailing addresses. You have until the end of Sunday, May 25 to comment on as many of the Design Team Blog Posts from this week as possible. On Monday, we'll draw three random blog posts, and one comment from each of those posts will win a prize package!

Here are the designers with some inspiration for you today. Be sure to leave them some appreciation when posting your comments on their posts.

If you're just joining us, here are the links for MONDAY and TUESDAY's posts.

***Blog Hop Hint – if you click on a link that takes you to a page saying something like, “Sorry this page cannot be found,” just click on the header at the top of the blog (usually a picture, or the blog’s name), and it will take you to that blog’s most recent post. That post *should* be our hop. If not, you can probably scroll down a short way to find the hop post.

I'm delighted to be a part of the IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko and Stampendous "Celebrate Neon" Blog Hop. The Stampendous Stack Art Kraftboard Kit and Stack Art Stamps Kit by Fran were fun to work with.

For this project, I used the following products and supplies:

  • STAMPENDOUS Fran's Stack Art Stamps -- Regal Bird (mosaic background and leaf border strip stamps from set); Fran's Stack Art Kraftboard -- Regal Bird; Fran-Tage Color Fragments in Hot Lime, Teal; Mica Fragments in Teal
  • IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko -- Radiant Neon Pigment Inks in Electric Blue, Electric Green, Electric Yellow, Electric Orange, Electric Coral; Memento Mixed Media Ink in Dandelion; StazOn Solvent Ink in Orange Zest; Delicata Pigment Ink in Golden Glitz
  • IMAGINE Crafts -- Goosebumps Textured Spray in Shimmer!; Ink Blushers
  • Miscellaneous:  Mark Richards' adhesive Nailheads in Copper

by Debbie Gaetz
Artist-in-Residence for IMAGINE Crafts

  • Electric Yellow Radiant Neon pigment ink is sponged on the base layer and sprayed with Goosebumps in Shimmer; the mosaic stamp design is then stamped over with the StazOn solvent ink in Orange Zest.
  • Electric Yellow Radiant Neon pigment ink and Memento Luxe mixed media ink in Dandelion is sponged on the next layer, and Delicata pigment ink in Golden Glitz is sponged on lightly tapped onto the inked surface in various spots. Inks are allowed to dry; then the leaf border is stamped onto the surface with StazOn solvent ink in Orange Zest.
  • The word oval is from the Kraftboard Kit and cut out with scissors. I then lightly inked the oval with Radiant Neon pigment inks in Electric Coral, Electric Yellow, Electric Blue and Electric Green. It's then adhered to the backside of the oval opening.
  • The bird is covered with glue and the Color fragments are applied to both the body of the bird and the wing; I made sure to place a darker piece for the bird's eye. The crown is colored with Delicata pigment ink in Golden Glitz.

Thank you for stopping by the IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko and Stampendous Celebrate Neon Blog Hop. Please remember to leave your comments at each 'stop' to have a chance at the prizes!
