Today is Lost Coast Designs' Day at Art 'n Soul, all day!

Linda Long will be at the store conducting an all-day class and a Trunk Show for everyone! Her stamp designs are wonderful and several of her stamps really work well as washi tape designs. Her stamps are generally sold unmounted; however, for an extra small fee, they can be mounted on foam cling mount at the store while you wait. If you're not signed up for the class, please make it a point to stop in and see the stamps . . . I personally love the designs!

"Saving Mr. Banks" was my favorite movie to see in December. I remembered I had purchased a Lost Coast Designs' stamp of a likeness to Mary Poppins and I searched it out.

Vamp Stamp News, which is now only available electronically, has a great article on powdered pigment techniques. I came across this link from the Judikins' Facebook page; thanks Judi Watanabe!

Click on this link to go the VSN website page that contains links to download the .pdf  or other electronic file format for your easy reference:  http://www.vampstampnews.com/earticles/Powdered-Pigment-Techniques-For-Stampers.html

A real bonus if you look at the several-page document, the article features several stamps from Magenta!

We had a terrific day at Art 'n Soul. The store was truly abuzz with the Play Day . . . learning about and playing with the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. Today, we saw so many versatile ways to use this particular punch board and there are so many more ways. We want to thank Dianne and Sue for contributing ways to make a candy box for the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup and the card set box. And our hats off to Marj and Sharon for all of the amazing designs they prepared for the Play Day and the written recipes! Today's Play Day took an enormous amount of thought and preparation, and was offered at no charge to our Art 'n Soul customers because this otherwise easily could have been an organized class!

The most amazing team that I love working with!
l-r:  Dianne Johnson, Marj Marion and then Sue Moffat, Sharon Wolvin
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! to the many, many of you who took time out of your day to play at Art 'n Soul!

I plan on posting pics of the various 'creations' with recipes, so please check back!

Be a part of the excitement at Art 'n Soul today . . . the Lost Coast Designs' class and the Lost Coast Designs' Trunk Show! See you there!
