Art Journal Club meets today at the store . . .  4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Get your art 'on' or come in and see some wonderful art 'going on'. Whichever you choose, you'll be inspired! -- ed. note:  the Journal Club meets NEXT Friday, February 14!

Tomorrow is the Demo and Trunk Show of Earth Arts' Animal Spirits stamps from the new releases at CHA. Gwen always has great demo's and make-n-takes for you . . . join Gwen tomorrow afternoon (Saturday) from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon. The Trunk Show will continue at Art 'n Soul through February 15.

One of the perks of being a terrific fine art rubber stamping store that goes outside the box quite often is the art that is shared with us by our terrific customers. We love it when our customers learn new techniques at Art 'n Soul, go home to try it all out, and return to the store to show us what they've created.

The first 3 cards feature the Dandelion Stamp from Magenta.

This card features heat embossing with clear embossing powder,
and then 'smooshing' (Marty's term) inks over the image
directly onto paper

The next two cards feature heat embossing with white embossing powder and rubbing the paper with Inka Gold in silver!

The last two cards feature stamps and matching dies from Local King Rubber Stamps. Have you signed up for Lisa Yang's classes next month at Art 'n Soul?

Thanks, Marty, for sharing your creativity and passion with fine art rubber stamping!

From Elizabeth Craft Designs, another beautiful card featuring the new Shimmer Sheetz! colors . . .

by Els for Elizabeth Craft Designs
"Finished my 'work in progress' card from earlier this week.
The NEW Australian Opal Gemstone Shimmer Sheetz (SS0225) is gorgeous!!
I did use our NEW embossing folders. Need to wait for that for two more weeks before we start shipping but all the new Shimmer Sheetz are ready to go! Besides the Austrlian Opal we do have a new Raspberry Metallic and a Red Iris.
I used flower dies 725 and 795." --Els

We're home . . . and I have much, much more to post. Tom has just told me he has to drive to Olympia and due to the snow conditions, I'm going to 'hitch' a ride so I can pick up some deliveries at the store. I'll be back later today -- I promise!

P.S.  The blog server is acting up again and won't allow me to preview this posting, so I'm going to cross my fingers and push "publish" and hope it all works out!
