As the blog server continues to be temperamental, my earlier post had one boo-boo that was my doing and a very important omission of information that kept disappearing caused by the blog server.

All of the beautiful cards stamped with Magenta's Dandelion stamp and the Local King Rubber Stamp images and matching dies were created by Marty Robinson. We love her enthusiasm and passion for the discoveries she makes at Art 'n Soul. I made the corrections if you want to re-visit yesterday's post.

New washi tape is at the store from Bo Bunny! Look in the jar at the front counter . . .

Speaking of Bo Bunny, here's their Valentine paper collection . . . better late than never, I suppose. I had thought this order would ship immediately after the show in early January. It's on the spinning rack!

6x6 paper pad

KaiserCraft is back on track to deliver some of their paper collections to Art 'n Soul through the next few months. This is the first to arrive . . . Art of Life.

12x12 Sticker Sheet

Gwen Evans was at Art 'n Soul today to show off the newly released stamps from Earth Art's Animal Spirits line. The cougar, camel, elk and phoenix are awesome. Everyone who came in for the demo were able to make a card, and learn some other techniques from Gwen.

Gwen has stamped the image onto glossy paper with StazOn
ink; after it has dried, she has applied dabs of color
in various spots and is blending the colors with a
Q-tip swab.
The trunk show will continue through February 15, so please stop in and see what stamps you need to purchase to add to your collection . . . or to start your collection! Gwen always recommends stamping your paper that is lying on a firm foam pad; and to use VersaFine ink or StazOn ink if you're stamping onto gloss or other non-absorbent surface. Michael stopped in and we briefly discussed what fun it would be to zentangle too!

Great news! Marj discovered a Hero Arts stamp set that is so versatile and she's made so many wonderful examples to share. If you're in the store and want to place your pre-paid order for this stamp set only, please do it soon! When Marj showed the samples yesterday, Dianne and I immediately said . . . "get a pink sheet out! "This is a special order and we're only taking orders for this set!

Thank you, Marj, for seeing this stamp set and making those awesome card samples. When I left the store early afternoon today, we had pre-sold quite a few; if you want one, please call the store (360.357.6820) or stop in because it's my understanding there will not be extra sets ordered. After you see the sample cards that Marj created a couple days ago, you'll want to order this stamp set!

Some customers expressed concern that there
wasn't sufficient room to insert the individual
words. Above is the stamped image with the individual
word stamp on the clear block ready to be stamped. As
you can see, there is plenty of space!

Dreamweaver Stencils is now on open catalog status. Because of Marj's previous work with Dreamweaver Stencils, Lynell often shares new designs in advance with Marj. These are the sample cards Marj created the other evening . . .

If you want to see other new designs from Dreamweaver, especially for zentangling, go back to my January 17 posting. I showed some of the new designs that Lynell pointed out to me at CHA last month. It's the perfect time to make your list of Dreamweaver Stencils to order and purchase from Art 'n Soul.

Tomorrow is my "Sweet Somethings" class. I hope the falling snow is off the roads and streets early enough that I can make my way down to the store! All of the candies and nesting materials are ready!

See you tomorrow!
