All of us at Art 'n Soul are so fortunate to know so many avid crafters who make beautiful cards and share their art.

Cathy Kargacin was at Art 'n Soul showing us three of her latest cards. One of the cards is a wedding card she has been working on using Shimmer Sheetz from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Using papers from the Graphic 45's Bohemian Bazaar collection and some Spellbinders' dies, Patti Ritterhouse made these beautiful cards . . .

Peggy Austin was inspired by Deb Kuttel's demo of the Judikins' Mica Gloss at Art 'n Soul's birthday party last month. We love your 'inspirations' Peggy!

Kathy Schwartz has been busy creating beautiful projects from 'found' objects with beautiful washi papers. I know I'm inspired to find some more washi papers for the store . . . I'm waiting for the upcoming CHA Show week after this to see what's available and place an order! I know you'll be inspired when you look at Kathy's work . . .

Kathy Erickson has been having fun spritzing and she can't wait to 'spritz' in Fred Mullett classes in early September. In the meantime, let's enjoy what she's been spritzing!

Linda Beveridge, who is always sharing cards for every holiday with her family and friends, shared her Fourth of July patriotic cards with us. The cards were made from the red, white and blue washi tapes and Candi's she purchased at Art 'n Soul. Thanks, Linda!

Thank you -- Patti, Peggy, Cathy, Kathy, Linda and Kathy -- for sharing your beautiful art with us. We invite any of our customers and readers to share their works of inspiration on our blog.

Here's a beautiful sample of combining zentangling with Dreamweaver Stencils from Lynell Harlow, owner of Dreamweaver Stencils. The 'secret' is a new technique she is perfecting that we hope to demo at the Dreamweaver Stencil Trunk Show next month. Stay tuned for more details!

Art 'n Soul's Hero Arts Display promoting Hero Arts' Stamp Your Story line has made the Hero Arts Facebook Page.

"This display of Stamp Your Story products at Art 'n Soul (Lacey, Washington) is so cool! From the colorful samples to the vintage typewriter and cameras...we love it all!"
It was published on July 2. For those of you who are Facebook subscribers, go to the Hero Arts page and look for the July 2 posting. Very cool, don't you agree?

I'll see you at the store later today if you're coming by for the Art Squares Club meeting from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Coming with me are the new Washi Tapes!

But wait . . . can you believe they've backordered these delights? Keep a faithful watch on the blog for announcements about their arrival(s); I've asked the supplier to let me know when we might expect these washi tape jewels!

I ordered lots of the tree branch tape . . . wonder why!

Now that 'internet' life is somewhat back to normal, I'll see you tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by the blog . . . now, please, stop by Art 'n Soul for even more inspiration and friendship!

  1. The IO links don't work for me - is there any other way to see the catalogues?
