Susie had a very very long day listening to and watching the legislature. Lucky for us! Look at this terrific patriotic card she made using the new wood paper while listening to everyone 'chat' and debate! Don't you love it?

By the way, Dianne was very busy today signing people up for Fred Mullett's class, especially the evening session for those who have taken the Spritz Me Baby class before. And Dianne has been filling up Maryjo McGraw's Gelli Plate class too! If you haven't signed up for any classes by Fred and Maryjo, you better do it quickly! Fred has a student flying in from Texas again to take his class at Art 'n Soul!

A week from tomorrow, Saturday, July 6, Recycled Rubber at Art 'n Soul will be happening beginning at 10:00 am. that morning. If you still have items to bring in, please drop them off no later than next Wednesday, July 3. Please make sure your assigned initials are on both the item and the price sticker so you receive proper credit!

From Graphic 45, please view this wonderful tutorial from Gloria Stengel. If you haven't figured out how to use the vividly-colored Bohemian Bazaar papers now at Art 'n Soul, here's some ideas for brilliant-colored cards tags! You'll need to go to the link below to see what I'm talking about because I wasn't able to paste the tutorial in a size that you could read!

"Good morning everyone! Today I would like to share with you a very light blue and green card with amazing MB paper. I also used here a stamp for embossing - it's not quite vivid but this is the result I was going to obtain - just slight sputtering of the powder and words here and there.

Don't forget about Marj's Gelli Plate Demo this Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. --

Marj Marion has graciously agreed to lead a mini-demo on the Gelly Plate this Sunday, June 30, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. If you have recently purchased aGelli Arts™ Gelly Plate, or just want to know what it's all about, you are welcome to attend. We saw the excitement over the beautiful background papers Marj had made to display at the birthday party. Marj thought it would be an opportune time to show you 'how' she made these prints on the Gelly Plate.

You will be able to watch some of the the basics of printing, see examples of different techniques, and ask questions you might have. Just know you will become addicted to the flow and fun of Gelli Art!

For Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko, Kazuko created this wonderful frame . . . I know you'll like it! Click on the link to Kazuko's blog, "Love My Artsy Mess."
