Don't forget . . . this afternoon, the new order of Washi Tape will be at the store, just in time for the Ways with Washi Tape class at 1:00. I hope you like the selection . . . better come check it out as soon as you're able to get to the store. I think they're going to go quickly!

From Imagine Crafts®/Tsukineko®, a short video using Pan Pastels.
"VersaMark fun. Loving the video's old-timey music!"

And another how-to from IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® using coffee filters!

"I had so much fun working with Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko Inks and coffee filters. I created lots of coffee filter dragonflies. You can see a tutorial here. You can use these coffee filter shapes in a variety of ways and create lots of color combinations for a special project using Memento dye ink. This ink is fast drying and fade resistant and comes in 24 wonderfully fresh colors.
I used one of the extra dragonflies to create this cute charm. It’s quick and simple!"

In John Petersen's June 29 Beaded Bezel class, you will make a two-sided pendant using Shimmer Sheetz!, StazOn ink and beautiful beads. Be sure to sign up for this class . . . we don't offer bead classes but every once in a great while. When we saw John's pendant last year, we insisted that he schedule a class at Art 'n Soul  and teach us how to make this stunning pendant.

Please sign up for John's class soon! You may either stop in or call the store at 360.357.6820.

It's late. We had a lot of fun working on the Magenta Mixed Media Boards at this afternoon's play time. We even gained a couple more converts . . . Deb K., and two customers -- Sue and Carol. Marj made a gorgeous set of 3 small boards to hang up and Susie brought in some early stamps from Stampscapes (Kevin Nakagawa) that were so cool. I'll try and post those pictures tomorrow . . .

I'll end with these heartwarming photos  . . . woof! Nothing artsy but hopefully makes you smile and feel a tug on your heart . . . something we all need on a regular basis!
