We hope you're ready for Recycled Rubber later this morning starting at 10:00 a.m. There is so much new stuff, and Laurel has been graciously helping store staff to prepare it for your purchases. And because today, May 4, is National Scrapbooking Day -- in honor of it (even though we're not 'technically' a scrapbooking store), Bella Carta is offering 20% off all 12x12 papers today (Saturday) only! Tell your scrapbooking friends we have all sorts of beautiful 12x12 papers that they will want to look at for their scrapbooking projects . . . perhaps to use at some of the crops they may be going to later in the day in honor of National Scrapbooking Day!

I really fell in love when I spotted this beautiful flower stamp,
it's called Cosmos.

 I have stamped it with Archival black and colored it in with distress inks (worn lipstick, crushed olive, peeled paint). Also the background is colored with distress inks (tumbled glass & tea dye) and stamped the new distressed background text randomly with tea dye and the berries stamp with tumbled glass."

In preparation for the Puyallup Stamp Show, Helene has sent the Magenta show boards to the store. We've placed them out in the store so you might enjoy them before the show, and take photos up close if you'd like. And you'll want to look at the class boards for Helene's 3 classes because they are stunningly beautiful . . . it's enough to make you want to sign up for the classes!

By the way, I've ordered more of the Maruyama ribbon from Magenta and should be here week after next!



Graphic 45 released more sneak peeks of their Bohemian Bazaar collection . . .

And then Graphic 45 sends an email out today that says next week they're going to start sneak peeks of another new collection, Steampunk Spells! I did ask when they think either of the two new collections will be available for orders and shipping; they emailed back and said because of our interest and good customer status, they'll let us know asap when they know so we can put in an early order! Yay!

Before I leave, look for the new 'chalkboard' tag packages on the front table. They're new from SEI!
