Susie has been very busy with her washi tape stash that keeps growing and growing. It was fun to see the latest "Magenta Chipboard Cat" that was decorated with washi tape. After she finished, Susie covered the backside with a piece of washi paper that had been trimmed to cover the backside of the cat.

From Inchie Arts' blog . . .

STORE SAMPLE
"(Stampendous Garden Background stamped across 6 white 1-1/2" Inchie + Squares with Memento dye based ink, then colored with Copic Markers)"

Sometime very soon I am going to go through my various background stamps to see what I might find to use for some Inchie Art. Lisa Lee, creator of Inchie Arts, taught two fabulous classes at the store today. As a result, store staff is going to research a new stamp set from Rubbermoon that we all liked for Inchies.

Lisa brought down more products, including those wonderful gift box sets that include the Inchies (2 to a set that sells for $5 plus sales tax) and their new Art Boards. Of course, more Inchies were also delivered too. You might want to stop in soon because some of the 'special' items are not going to last very long!

Speaking of Inchies . . . Sam Lee and I are going to meet on Wednesday, along with Linda B. and Marilyn D. to discuss new ideas for the Art 'n Soul Inchie Club. The new ideas might include format and the meeting schedule. If you're interested in joining us, please be at Art 'n Soul at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

From Imagine Crafts®/Tsukineko®, a beautiful card from Taylor Usry, Artist-in-Residence. I love the colors and the white clouds.

"So much texture and color in AIR Taylor's spring-themed card:

And here's another technique-oriented posting that Imagine Crafts refers to on their Facebook page . . . it's really cool! Be sure to click on the link below the photo to see the step-by-step technique. Some of us have been challenged when using the GlazOn and StazOn layering process, and this really does explain it very well. I have learned that you only need to apply a very thin layer of GlazOn between the colored ink layers, and that you must let every layer dry completely before proceeding to the next step. In this "I wanna do it now and I wanna finish it now" world, patience is key!
