I had to reconfigure some settings on the blog posting today, so you're now seeing it in two parts. Nothing in content has changed, only the split format. Thanks for understanding!

Cathy Andronicou used Les Petites 90-001, Versafine Onyx Black ink with clear embossing powder,  stamped with Blooming Garden 30-155 and coloured with copics (V12, V15, V17, BG23, BG49, BG78 and G5)  and Dahilas 30-159 (for the sentiment). Tip: by cutting the individual words for the sentiment I was able to re-arange them in a vertical format. To finish off the design I used a piece of MT Washi Tape.
Beautiful!"

AIR Tutorial StazOn and GlazOn

"It is time for my third project this month for the Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko AIR Team - the theme is Spring Fever and the choice is ours - so much to choose from, this time I am trying something new - for me anyway!
by Linda Lucas for Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko
I have had fun playing with the different products that we received - for this project I am using Stazon and GlazOn, along with the fabulous metal.

Preferred Promotional Partners:
  • GC-001 Spellbinders™ Grand Calibur Cutting Machine
  • E3D-006 Framed Labels Eighteen Spellbinders 3D M-Bossabilities folders
Other:  Acrylic Block, Want2Scrap bling, Metal Hardware/ Embellishments, brads x2, glue

I have started by embossing the metal using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine and the Framed Labels Eighteen Spellbinders 3D M-Bossabilities folders.  NOTE as the metal is thicker than card and the 3D Embossing Folder has so much dimension,  I used the Pink plate along with the Raspberry plate.

Using an Ink Blushers sponge  StazOn - Mustard onto the embossed metalthen use StazOn - Pumpkin to highlight some of the higher areas.

Highlight the embossed flowers using a Fantastix - Brush Tip and StazOn - Hydrangea Blue and add a layer of GlazOn - Clear using the Multi-purpose Squeegee for applying.

Once the GlazOn - Clear has dried, add some Want2Scrap bling along the lower edge of the project.  I have picked out the blue and chosen bling to highlight this.

To finish off I have used some metal embellishments from my stash.  The metal tag has been attached using brads and the butterfly has been glued and also had Want2Scrap bling added.

I hope you are inspired to use StazOn and GlazOn on your projects - there are so many possibilities.  I have not decided yet what I am doing to use this project on, but will definitely come back and show you!
Thank you for your comments and all of the support you give me - you make blogging such an amazing place to be!! Your encouragement is such a blessing for me - it makes my day! God bless you!"

Tomorrow, I'll share photos of several cards Susie made with her new passion, washi tape! I'm so excited because another new order of washi tapes was just submitted and I hope we'll see them by Friday or Saturday of this week! I'll be sure to let you know!

In the meantime, I had to laugh at one of many articles in the daily "Craft Gossip" email that I receive daily! I think I can think of many "cards in progress" in my stash that could apply to this, and many other papercrafting projects partially finished. I'm so glad we're not the only crafters with this dilemma!

I don’t know if it’s spring or just beginning of the month frustration, but I’m just about sick of all the partially finished knitting projects sitting around my house. So I’ve decided that for the month of April, as much as possible, I am going to focus my time on finishing projects I’ve already started rather than casting on new … "
