Graphic 45's Secret Garden collection was delivered this morning and will be at the store on Saturday afternoon. It's gorgeous! I'll have pics tomorrow for you.

Dianne was gracious in offering to take photos of the Impression Obsession goodies that arrived at Art 'n Soul yesterday -- thanks, Dianne! . . . spring fun, tea bag folding, backgrounds, borders and Easter!

The diversity of techniques that can be used with products from Impression Obsession is always such a treat.

Lovely Aster...

"I'm delighted to be here today, posting for the first time on the Memory Box blog!  You can click on the pictures to see the card full size.
by Pam Sparks for Memory Box
I started my card by cutting 3 of the medium size flower and 3 of the flower center from the Lovely Aster die set.  I shaped them with an embossing stylus on a mouse pad and glued them together with Tombox Mono Multi glue.  The leaves are cut with the leaf dies from the set.
I ♥ that the flowers and the leaves are embossed and cut out with one pass through the die cut machine!
I used the Flower Mound die for the teeny white flowers.  They are shaped with a stylus on a mouse pad then glued to Chloe flower die cuts.  I cut two of the  Isabella butterfly die and glued them together.  The center piece is colored with an E47 Copic Sketch marker and glued on.
The label is one of the Pastry Label dies.  'Wishing you' is from the Wishing you a happy bee-day rubber stamp.  I used the next to the largest Sideshow Tickets die, matted it and used a small corner rounder punch on the corners. Do you see the embossing on the ticket die... cool!  I used Memory Box Distressed Violet, Moroccan violet, Moroccan squash and sweet corn  8.5 x 11 papers."
Finished card size - A2

From Kazan Clark's blog, Nunutoolies . . . I met Kazan at Winter CHA while she was demo'ing for Spellbinders and expressed my admiration for her beautiful work and blog. She was so sweet and gave me permission to share some of her blog content with you from time to time.

Celebrate Life

by Kazan Clark for JustRite
"Spring is here!  Today the weather is so glorious in Colorado that it honestly feels like spring.  I check for little buds on our tree - but alas none yet.  I know we will get snow soon again but for a brief fleeting moment I am embracing the warmth and beauty of new beginnings. This card certainly is a reflection of my energized mood :) This beautiful bracket stamp and sentiment is JustRite's latest release called:

by Kazan Clark
The bracket stamp was designed to coordinate with Spellbinders S4-161 Labels One, S4-375 Scallop Labels One, S4-379 Decorative Labels One and A2 Bracket Borders One.  I also used Spellbinders M-Bossabilities folder for the background."

From Els at Elizabeth Craft Designs . . .

"Judi Kauffman decided to keep going with the Faux Mosaic Easter Eggs she made for Studio Els (my new series) in the March issue of Scrapbooking.com Magazine. Instructions for the eggs are in the article. Switch to pastels or bright, more traditional colors for YOUR hanging ornament-style cards if you don't like her muted palette. She says to "Layer The Squares and punch a hanging hole at the top." Two of the cards have ATCs in a clear sleeve (held in place with removable tape). Some have Happy Easter, dragonfly, bee, or the year 2013. She used the leftovers from the center of the zeros on a sheet of numerals to decorate the corners of one of her ornaments, and provided a close-up photo so you can see how she did it."

Guest Designer - Jill Norwood

by Jill Norwood
"Kianel should be back next week but for today, Jill Norwood is guest designing for us.   I think she was having a little bit too much fun as she did not stop with just this beautiful pink Spring card but created two more for us.

by Jill Norwood
For the cards above, Jill used her French Pastry Doily, Small Lace Butterfly w/Angel Wing, Sentiment Frame #1 and Small Exotic Butterfly w/Angel Wings.

For this circle card she used her French Pastry Doily, Small Lace Butterfly w/Angel Wing and Sentiment Frame #1.  Thank you, Jill for helping us out today."

That's all for tonight. If you're not signed up for the washi tape class by Dianne and Marj this Saturday or Sunday, be sure to stop in and see the new washi tapes that will be out; we've been saving them for the classes this weekend.

We're having a fabulous time being Gammy and Grandpa to Cecilia. It's so much fun to have 'tea' and 'soup' that she pours into her little cups and bowls. I love how a 16-month old little girl can be so dainty, precise and neat about everything 'at the moment' of play . . . and then, wow!
