It's amazing how inspiring new papers can be. SEI and Authentique orders arrived yesterday morning and we're very glad they did. Dianne was so excited that she helped me open and process the order immediately so it could be out for sale before I left the store.

SEI's Mia Bella collection is so beautiful! So many of them have foil accents. If one side of the double-sided paper doesn't catch your eye, the other side certainly will! I tried to take a photo of the side with the foil with the light reflecting off of the foil embossing. There will be lots of opportunities for you to use these embossed foils in resist techniques. Totally irresistible!

These papers will be perfect for stamping onto.

Embellishments for the Mia Bella collection
are also at the store in limited quantities . . .
canvas stickers; die cut accents, stickers,
ribbon trims, sundries (really cool items),
AS WELL AS THE 6x6 paper pads.

12x12 Kraft Paper also came with the order; foils enhance two of the papers.

SEI is also selling file folders; each folder has an inside pocket on the left side and two pre-punched holes at the top of the right side for paper holders. They're only 75-cents each.

Authentique has sent another collection which includes a paper with little bunnies on it . . . Deb K. is soooo happy! These are 8x8 and 6x6 paper pads.

The Elizabeth Craft Designs' glitter rack was delivered and Dianne set it up. One of each glitter color is in the tray and the back-up supply is on the rack. We all know how much we love the micro silk glitters from ECD!

Marj and Dianne have added a class on washi tapes. Mark your calendar for March 9 and call the store to sign up asap because this class is going to fill up super-fast. I've promised to have a fresh supply of washi tapes in time for the class too! Please call the store at 360.357.6820 to sign up or stop in to sign up.

Saturday, March 9, 1-4 p.m.

Dianne and Marj are "in love" with Washi Tape, and they are teaming up to bring you a wonderful, brand new class to inspire you to use these great tapes in your artwork. You will learn many tips and techniques for using commercial tapes in a variety of ways as  you make four to five great cards. AND, you will learn clever ways to make your own Washi tapes! This process is So creative and very addictive! You'll also learn ways to combine Washi Tapes with embossing folders, stamps and dies.

This will be a popular class, so be sure to sign up early to save your spot in class. Please bring your basic kit, long-bladed sharp scissors, and a roll of 1/2" Score Tape (available at Art 'n Soul).

Finally, we send our prayers and good wishes to Gail H. She fell this last weekend and broke her arm in 3 places; she'll undergo a surgical procedure on Friday to start the mending process. We certainly wish her well!
