This has been quite a day. We celebrated my 60th year with a "Bowling for 60" party this afternoon; the last time I was in a bowling alley, we had to mark down the scores and actually add the numbers. Prizes were given out to those who bowled the perfect 60 game . . . the winners were my 3 year-old grandniece, Taea; 4 year-old "adopted grandnephew" Cooper; 12 year-old "adopted grandnephew" Seth; and 15 year-old "adopted grandniece" Peyton. The adult who came closest to a perfect 60 bowled a 61! In my first 3 frames, I had a score of "1", followed by 3 more pins in the 4th, and 7 more pins in the 5th frame. Wasn't pretty!
It's time to turn in for the night because tomorrow's Iris Folding class is going to be lots of fun.
