Art 'n Soul's Recycled Rubber happens rather quickly because the first Saturday in February falls on February 2! It's only about 10 days away. If you've been cleaning and organizing for the new year as many folks do, please remember to bring in your gently-used items for resale at Recycled Rubber; any sales of your items are credited to a 'store credit' account less 10%. And someone gets to go home with the best bargains of the month. There are fantastic treasures at Recycled Rubber for everyone! To be certain your items will be in the February 2 Recycled Rubber, we'd appreciate it if you would bring them in no later than Wednesday, January 30 . . . please have items identified with your account initials for proper credit; if you don't have a store credit account, we will be more than happy to assign you one at the store.
Introducing more of their new stamps for 2013, Penny Black's blog today featured these and a card I really like! You can see the online catalog at Art 'n Soul.

While I was roaming through the Impression Obsession website, I found these 3 beautiful card designs, and all 3 happen to be those by Dina Kowal. Have you turned in your IO order to the store yet?

Lots of Hearts

"In keeping with this week's challenge theme of Sweethearts, I have created this clean and simple card. Sometimes I enjoy not dressing my cards up with flowers and leaves and just enjoy the simplicity and beauty of the dies. I created my card base using my Scalloped Square Lg Stackers, cutting a background panel with the coordinating Silver Square Stackers. I then dry embossed the background panel with my favorite Hearts and Rose Leaves embossing plate. Next I added a Sweetheart frame; I use spray adhesive to attach the frame to my embossed panel. The last step was my center hearts which I die cut with my Heart to Heart Doily dies. I popped up the lower heart for some dimension."
One final thought for now . . .
