Inchies Club meets tonight between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. Please join us . . . we'd love to share our love for Inchies with you!

Dianne was inspired to make an Inchies Gift Box like the ones Lisa Lee with Inchie Arts taught us a while back. The gift card came in a red and white gingham cover, so she decided it would be an added touch to make this gift box to put the gift card in.

She stamped the image (stamp source unknown) onto
the tiles after coloring some of the tiles red with a
Copic marker. She embossed the red tiles with white
embossing powder, and the white tiles were embossed with
clear embossing powder. Tiny red gems were added
all over the design.

Dianne also made a 'thank you' card using a new (Wild Blooms) and an older (Thanks) Memory Box die. All of us were emailing back and forth razzing her about the technique she used.

Dianne stamped a design onto white paper for her background paper. Most of us would have slipped the contrasting background paper behind the die cut-outs, attaching it from behind. Not Dianne! She didn't like the way that looked, so she re-cut the two dies with the background paper and paper pieced those individual die cuts into the openings! Did you see how many of the flower petals there are? Marj pointed out the flower die would make a nice die cut for a sympathy or get-well card.

Thanks, Dianne, for sharing your beautiful work with us.

New I.O. logo  Mini Mount Package

Impression Obsession introduced a new Mini Mount at CHA.  At 4"x5", the Mini Mount is large enough for most card -sized stamps like Gary Robertson.  Easy to use and hold, if you love the Mega Mount, you'll love its smaller sibling as well.

You might want to add this new item from IO; we're getting close to submitting the order so let us know asap. You can call the store and order it over the phone if that is more convenient . . . 360.357.6820!

The order from Lifestyle Crafts arrived late and I hope to bring the washi tape paper sets to the store by the time the Inchies Club meets. I bought sets in every color they make so you will have a variety to select from. More on this 'new find' tomorrow!

and I didn't even wear earrings!
