M-Bossabilities |

"This week we are showing you how we use M-Bossabilities. Embossing is one of my favourite techniques to use on a project - the depth of the embossing on these folders is fabulous. One of the unique factors is that they have not one, but two patterned sides - double value - you have to love that!
Spellbinders™ Paper Arts Supplies:
Other: Scissors, wax paper, chiffon ribbon, two (2) pearl sliders, Christmas sentiment stamp, Straw/linen ink, walnut ink
Cut one (1) Reindeer and one flourish from the Frosty Forms Shapeabilities, along with one (1)
2012 Snowflake Pendant Shapeabilities® in sizes one, two and three.
NOTE: Spellbinders Die Templates are numbered from the smallest, being one to the largest.
Emboss white card using the Winter Wonders M-Bossabilities™ folder. Cut it to size making sure you keep as much of the lower embossing section as possible.
Carefully tear along the line of the top portion of embossing to be added as an embellishment at the top of the card.
Using the Grand Calibur® Machine cut one (1) Fancy Framed Tags Two Shapeabilities®,one (1) each of the Create A Flake Four Shapeabilities® - sizes 1, 4 and 7 - noting that Spellbinders number the Dies in a set from the smallest to the largest. It is best to use wax paper with these Dies, place intop of the card, wax side up into the Dies, making it so much easier to removed the cut Die.
Using the Clearsnap Stylus, sponge around the edges of the embossed white card, including the torn strip, using straw ink and finishing off with Walnut Ink lightly around the edges. Attach the torn strip to the top of the embossed white card using Scor-Pal® 1/2" Tape.

It is best to use wax paper with these Dies, place intop of the card, wax side up into the Dies, making it so much easier to removed the cut Die.
Once the Dies have been cut and embossed, it is time to stencil! Remove the Wax Paper off the Snowflakes and slip them back into the Dies. While the white card is in the Dies, ink around the inside edges using the Clearsnap Stylus and straw ink. Remove from the Dies.
NOTE: Remember to give the Dies a wipe with a damp cloth to remove any ink on them - this leaves them clean for the next time you use them.
Using a cutting tool, make a slit across the center of the base of the flourish on the Fancy Framed Tags Two Shapeabilities®, a second one in the inside of the tag, repeat this at the opposite end. Thread the ribbon through the inner slit as shown in the photo below.
Next, thread it through the Pearl Slider and into the next slit, careful not to pull too hard or the tag could tear. Repeat this at the opposite end and slowly pull the ribbon tight at each end - as shown in the photo below.
Layer the snowflake using SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ - Thin 3D Foam Squaresand adhere to the embossed white card. Attach the sentiment using Scor-Pal® 1/2" Tape, making sure to secure the ends of the ribbon to the back of the card. Attach the card front of the card base. The finished card measures 15cm x 10cm.
Finish off with Want2Scrap pearls.
