I've ordered and received 5 of these yummy glitter pen sets in response to a couple of customer requests. One set is already spoken for. They sell for $15 plus tax . . . they're the best glitter pens you'll ever use. They'd make a wonderful stocking stuffer gift for someone, too!

Linda Beveridge has made some very nice Thanksgiving cards for her family and friends. I love this first stamp she used; Linda says it's been an all-time favorite one she has kept forever. Thanks for sharing your cards, Linda!

"Huckleberry Branch

IMG_9592

I haven't decided if I am going to use this card as my Christmas card this year or my thank you card.  In any case, I know I would be able to make a lot of them in a short amount of time.
For the card, I used both the Huckleberry Branch D1889 and the Simply Wonderful B1870 saying.  I stamped both with green Versamark ink, colored the berries with a red Tombo marker, and added a bow."

Hi everyone,
I hope you are all getting ready for the holidays.  I have a card to help get you started on your Christmas cards.
Instructions:
  • Ink the Tiny Cottage stamp with black ink and stamp on Eggshell cardstock.  Stamp the tiny cottage on a post-it-note and cut the image to use as a mask. Place mask over image and ink the Snowy Pine Landscape with green ink.  Stamp image over the cottage.  Remove mask.
  • Punch a 3/4" circle from another post-it-note and place in sky area.  Ink edges and sky area of image with Vintage Photo Ink.  Remove mask and stamp Reindeer Run with black ink.
  • Color image as desired.
  • Apply Liquid Applique' to cottage roof and hills.  Sprinkle with glitter. Heat set.
  • Use a white pen to add snow dots.

"One of the Many All-Purpose Ink Techniques
Step 1:
Either draw out a design or you can use a stencil on the fabric.
Step 2:Dip your Fantastix into the All-Purpose ink and color in your design.
Step 3:
Use other colors to add dimension, especially white.  The white is a perfect blending medium.
Step 4:
After you are done with coloring, heat set with either an iron or a dryer. Heat setting will make the ink permanent, but not stiff.
Step 5 (optional):
To add more detail, go over design with Fabrico Markers and heat set again.

Other Technique Suggestions:

  • Marbeling
  • Watercoloring
  • Airbrushing
  • and many, many more!"

We're in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on the lake at the resort for my husband's annual meeting. It's up to 37-degrees and it's supposed to get to 48-degrees. Cold but beautiful!
