From Millsrepco showcasing a beautiful Elizabeth Crafts Design holiday card . . .

"Ornaments from Elizabeth Craft Designs

Ornaments are peel-offs by Elizabeth Craft. Ornaments are glittered then colored with Copic markers.  Die Cut bough is by Impression Obsession.  Ribbon from Creative Impressions colored with Copic Markers."

Tea bag folding is returning to Art 'n Soul. Marj will be teaching a tea bag folding class after the first of the new year, so watch for the date announcement. In the meantime, we have a limited supply of new tea bag folding papers and stamps from Impression Obsession that are perfect to use. Dianne is so excited about it that she made a quick sample to inspire you . . .

We're trying something new in the bling department. Look at these beautiful matte finish 'Dots' from Hero Arts. We hope you'll like them . . . I liked them immediately! We want to thank Dianne for ordering them to share with you. Hero Arts is in the beginning stages of revealing their new 2013 catalog to a select group; as soon as we have the new images, we'll let you know. I'm hoping Hero Arts will be introducing new papers as well.

With permission, I just had to share this project that I saw online. Remember the playing cards that we've made cards with, courtesy of Elaine Woodhouse? Some of us couldn't resist continuing to purchase and trade more playing cards; Elaine's addiction rubbed off too well! Now what?

Look at this . . . you can go to the blog that features this project by clicking on 52 Reasons I Love You from PaperVine. The website will give you full instructions and a template.

I have just finished for the evening (?). I made braised short ribs for dinner while I cooked the turkey stock for the Thanksgiving dressing and gravy. I was so proud of my husband today. He actually arranged to have someone put up the outside Christmas lights on the house tonight so we'll be ready to show our holiday spirit after the Thanksgiving festivities!

I'm off to bed and a couple of crossword puzzles. Enjoy this little lull between the downpours and winds of the week. I think this is going to be a very long winter . . . what say you?

  1. Thanks so much for linking to the 52reasonsiloveyou website.

Just to clarify - the full instructions and supply list are on the blog - the template is available for purchase as a download if you want to recreate the reasons exactly as shown - or I give dimensions required if you just want to create your own :-)
