The Memory Box and Product orders arrived at the store yesterday. Dianne was so excited! The Product order included lots of various adhesives, Tsukineko inks (i.e., StazOn, Versafine, Memento) and Imagine Crafts products (i.e., Goosebumps, Creative Medium), embossing powders, and . . .

LOTS OF ZENTANGLE BOOKS & SOME MICRON PENS

EMBOSSING DIFFUSERS

LOTS AND LOTS OF SCOR-TAPE
(perfect for Glitter Ritz! and making your own washi tapes!)

LOTS OF NEW CANDI

And Stampington's new "TAKE TEN" magazine arrived. There are always so many wonderful ideas to glean . . .

Impression Obsession is starting to show pics of their new dies . . . that means you're going to want to look at them and write up your order(s). Take a look at these . . . I can't wait! These are only 7 of the 25 new dies . . . all of them are supposed to be on their website by Monday.

"
Our friend and frequent guest designer Judi Kauffman shared a bookmark she made with embossed Gemstones Amethyst Shimmer Sheetz (M-Bossabilities folder from Spellbinders, repeated in a random manner to produce texture), Elizabeth Craft Designs gold flower peel-offs on Gemstones Fire Opal Shimmer Sheetz, embellished with our Glitter Flowers and Glitter Dots. It's showcased inside a clear bookmark
sleeve from Creative Images Rubber Stamps (www.cistamps.com). This is a fast and easy gift, and would be even faster if Judi had simply slipped a strip of embossed Shimmer Sheetz into the bookmark sleeve before adding fibers - but she's always looking for a way to work Glitter Dots, Hearts or Flowers into her projects and this is no exception." -- Els

"One more before the weekend starts! A Halloween card using Peel Off sheet nr 2538 (Pumpkins) and nr 919 (Halloween) in black. The coloring is done with the Spectrum Noir pens on top of the Highlight glitter and the back ground is a piece of Bronze Shimmer Sheetz."

During Play Day at Art 'n Soul yesterday, we had fun making our own versions of the Memory Box Color of the Month make-n-take with taupe A-2 cards, and the Project of the Moth make-n-take with the same limited color card.
This is the Color-of-the-Month
Make 'n Take project that Memory Box folks made.
Here's our version . . .
by LInda Beveridge

We embossed the front of the taupe card (it
embosses beautifully!), and then cut the leaf branch die
from the card front. We used green mirror card stock behind
the die cut. The branch is die cut from brown card stock, and
the perched bird is die cut from metallic designer paper.

I die cut the bird from a piece of scrap corrugated card stock;
I placed a small piece of light green metallic text-weight paper
behind. Candi's are used in the upper left and bottom
right corners.

MEMORY BOX DIES:
Perched Reed Bird:  98160
Grove Branch:  98311
Grove Leaves:  98348

I have more samples to show and more pics from Journal Club. However, it's going to have to wait until tomorrow. I am 'done' . . . and I want to be rested for tomorrow morning's fun. We are driving into Seattle to meet up with our granddaughter, Cecilia, who is visiting from Milan, Italy . . . she's going to become deluged with kisses and hugs from Gammy and Grandpa . . . we've been waiting since April to see her again.

Sweet dreams . . .
