The new embossing folders from Couture Creations' Romantique collection are here. Better grab 'em fast. I have photos to show you tomorrow. And My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Halloween papers are on the spinning rack . . . really nice! The chipboard pieces are also on the rack. Photos of those tomorrow, too!
Here is the listing of the new Impression Obsession metal dies . . . after you've ooh'd and aah'd, let us know which one(s) you want to order! Call the store at 360.357.6820 or, better yet, please come into the store to fill out your very own IO Pink Sheet! There are several IO stamps that go with some of these dies. After seeing this introduction, Susie immediately declared Impression Obsession an 'open catalog' company! Of course, it goes without saying that IO stamps are also 'ripe' for selection too!

Zentangle Dreamweaver Tree
"For this card, Dreamweaver owner Lynell Harlow pasted the Open Christmas Tree with Copper Embossing Paste. When dry, Wayne (Lynell's husband) broke out his fine line pens and went to town creating amazing patterns that take this tree to the next level. Granted, this is not the type of card that you'd want to create fifty of to send to those on your Christmas card list, but for a few special people in your life, who love art and can appreciate the time that goes into it, this is the card that elicits the amazed "WOW!" "

The grace of the Humming Bird
"Good Morning again all you gorgeous Cheery Lynn Fans. I have another project to show you today of a bookmark that I made using some of Cheery Lynn's old and new dies.
The total length of the bookmark is 20cm with a 5cm fold at the top. I have put a small strip of magnetic tape on the back to hold the bookmark in place.
Cheery Lynn dies I used are
Celtic Band, Lace Humming Bird, Scalloped and Classic Circles (XM)
Anastasia Border, Buttons #1
I'm not sure what the the colour of this paper is but its from Bo Bunny's double dot collection. The Sentiment is a new one from Lilli of the valley, I used distressing ink aged mahogany which matched the paper...
Here is a close up of the Anastasia Border with buttons #1 which I have threaded with plain white string.
and here we have one of the new release dies
this one is called "Celtic Band".."
"Hello! Jodi here with a 5x7 card featuring a couple crosses from the new Cross Set and With Sympathy sentiment.
I used the Mini Pearl Rectangle Reflections set to create the base of my card, and layered it with Classic Coved Rectangle Silver Stacker, adding a piece from Lace Corner Deco F to dress up the corners, giving the card a more elegant feel. TheScalloped Oval Stacker, layered with the Classic Oval Silver Stacker is raised on pop dots to give the card a bit of dimension. I added a Large Rose with leaves from Build a Flower #2 and Olive Branches.
There are three beautiful crosses in the Cross Set. I chose two crosses, layering one atop the other!
Thanks for stopping by!!"
"It's hard to even think about Halloween time. Before you know it we will be making Christmas cards etc too. In this last batch of New Release dies, there were a couple of dies for Halloween and I thought I'd pair them with some I already had and
I came up with this fun card.
I embossed my card background with Leaves Embossing Plate.
The dies I am using from the new releases are CREEPY GATE and PUMPKIN SWAG.
The black cat and tree are a set called SCARE ME and the moon is made from the center of the SUNFLOWER die.
The cloud is a stamp that I stamped and cut out.
I think that the card turned out so cut and not too spooky!
What do you think?
I am having a lot of fun with the new release of dies.
I hope to have time to play with the flowers this next week.
This has been Jeannie from The Polka Cabana posting today for Cheery Lynn Designs."
Another late night but the view is worth staying up for. Recycled Rubber is a week from this Saturday -- can you believe it will be September 1? Yikes! Anyway, you have through next Wednesday to drop off any Recycled Rubber you want included in next Saturday's sale (9/1/2012); be sure your item(s) is well marked with your identification in addition to the price label because there are times when the label and item become separated. There is so much to sell . . . we're loaded to the gills!
More tomorrow! (or later today if you want to be really technical about it!)
