As I write this, Art 'n Soul's Recycled Rubber Saturday begins in about 10 minutes. I can imagine the gathering of eager customers standing outside the door waiting for the door to open promptly at 10:00 a.m.

I saw another one of Marj's sample cards yesterday.

As we've acquired a growing inventory of Memory Box and Bazzill colored papers to supplement the Prismatic colored papers, Deb has been busy organizing the basic papers in the back. I was going to take a photo of it all last night but the camera's battery needed recharging. So, take my word for it  . . . it's much better organized and you can see the array of colors from each of the suppliers . . . Prismatic, Bazzill and Memory Box. The metallic, silk, velvet and other specialty papers have been organized too. And another reminder, we're now selling Neenah's Classic Crest Solar White 80# paper (aka Karen Lockhart paper) by the ream (250 sheets).

Our last-minute order from Magenta arrived yesterday as well as the Memory Box order full of dies. The dies are now temporarily on the rotating display shelf where paper products and ribbons were because there are so many right now. Make sure to look at all 4 sides . . .

From Cheery Lynn Designs . . . I love the muted colors in the first posting and the vivid and bright colors in the second posting.

Floral Fun

"Hello! Jodi here today with a fun card featuring a couple of our beautiful flower dies!

I just love the way our Stacker Nesting dies all fit together so well, especially with such a variety of sizes in each set! It makes is so easy to add lovely layers to cards, layouts, and other projects.
Stackers used: French Flair-Scallop
French Flair Classic
Square-Scallop
Square Classic
To create the flower, I cut four layers of Stacker Flower #4 from book pages. Staggering the petals as you adhere them, is very important when creating a fuller, more life like flower. The center of the flower is made from two layers of Cuties #1. After attaching, I fluffed the petals of the flowers. Try stacking different flower dies together to see what kind of flower you can create!
Flower foliage consists of : Mini Flourish One
Small Leaves 2
Pine Branches
There is still time to enter this weeks challenge for your chance to win the $20 shopping spree!

Criss Cross Bliss

"I came across an awesome tutorial for this Criss Cross card.
You can find the link HERE.
I do have to warn you, I don't think the directions are very accurate.
After a few revisions, I came up with this lovely card to share today.

This card is one of those things that after I am done, I could kick myself for not writing down the dies I used as I was going along.

I will try my best to let you know all of the dies I used.  On the card base I used:
ZIG ZAG RIC RAC, SWEDISH SPRING OVAL AND QUEEN ANNE'S LACE.

For the band around the card I used FRANCESCA BORDER, TIFFANY BORDER AND BORDER CARNIVALE.

The sentiment focal point attached to the band, I used the following dies:
SCALLOPED OVAL, MINI FLOURISH ONE, BUTTONS 1, BLACK EYED SUSANS EMBOSSING PLATE, MEDIUM ROSE AND MINIATURE ROSE.

Here is the card with the band removed, you can see the Criss Cross Base in back.

All the paper is the brand new line from Authentique Paper called:
CAREFREE

I love the way this turned out and I think it would make a perfect Mother's Day card.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today.

. . . I think I did pretty good for the theme this week;)
Hope you have a great weekend.
This has been Jeannie with The Polka Cabana with today's post."

My grandniece's soccer team has a round of tournament games here in town today, so I'm off to see the second game.
