Recycled Rubber happens this Saturday, beginning at 10:00 a.m. And while you're finding the good deals that are always found on Recycled Rubber Saturdays, please make the time to see what other new treasures you can find at Art 'n Soul. And we have some great classes coming up, so be sure to pick up the latest copy of the Art 'm Soul class schedule in case you don't receive one via email tomorrow or on Friday.

Dianne was busy last night making this card using yellow iris Shimmer Sheetz, a colored photograph on inchie squares, and the Sugar Daisies paper from the SEI Vanilla Sunshine collection. Dianne's pretty sure the embossing folder used with the Shimmer Sheetz is still available at the store.

What's coincidental is that I made a birthday card for my great-niece who turns 11 on Friday, using the SEI Vanilla Sunshine "Sugar Daisies" paper! I used both sides of the paper. The strip that was punched with a Martha Stewart border punch on both sides is a Memory Box card stock. The butterfly (Memory Box Darla Butterfly die) is punched from SEI's Field Notes 6x6 pad; and the flower (Spellbinders' Aster Flower Topper die S5-102) is punched from the Sugar Daisies paper. The corner peel-offs are from Elizabeth Craft (1226); and the flower center is from Webster's Pages Sparklers. The Spellbinders' Aster Flower Topper die is so fun to work with and I love! love! love! the flower die-cuts it produces.

"Just finished another patchwork card. Did not have one left and we are going to make one in class tomorrow and Friday so needed to make another one. I will do much more patchwork projects down the road. Just received the Cinch so lots of ideas to work with that but also cover photo frames and frames around mirrors, flowerpots and you can go on and on it is really endless!" -- Els

PB&J Monday; Altered Coasters

Susie is selecting which projects Lynell Harlow with
Dreamweavers will teach at Art 'n Soul on June 18. I'm glad that I don't have that burden because it would be extremely difficult to narrow down the offerings; Lynell's samples are exquisite. If you haven't signed up yet, you might want to put your name on the list because once the samples are displayed, it's not going to take long to fill those classes up!

I just love it when the colorful days of spring are just around the corner, and the scents of fresh air and floral fragrances will surround us. It inspires us to be more creative, doesn't it? We hope you will remember that Art 'n Soul is your resource for the products, tools and creativity that feed the artist in you . . . and we love sharing it with you. Hope to see you real soon!
