New cards for you to look at while you're at Art 'n Soul . . .

by Marj Marion
Rubber Stamps (butterflies, speckle and message):  Magenta
Colors:  Copic Markers and Pan Pastels

Sue used the Couture Creations embossing folder and
layering embossing plate, to make this card. The special plate
allows you to emboss your card and, at the same time, leave
an unembossed space for a stamped image.

Both of these cards were easily made with designer background papers,
white embossed stamped image, and the Memory Box "thanks" die.

New papers from Webster's Pages are at the store on the spinning rack. There are assorted 12x12 papers from the new Sunday Picnic and Everyday Poetry collections. In addition, there is a 6x6 paper pak combination from both of the collections, embellishments, ribbons, and Journaling Cards.

These are 2 of the six cards you'll make in the Crazy 'n Krafty card class that Sue and I are teaching at Art 'n Soul this Saturday. $30 class fee . . . if you haven't signed up yet, there are a couple spots left. We're using kraft card stock and coloring with different mediums . . . all easy to do!

"For this card I used our Simply Pastels Limited Editions in combination with the Deep Purple micro fine glitter. Tape size I use for most of these cards is the 65mm/2.5inch. The die I used is the Floral Flourishes from Spellbinders."

From Penny Black's blog . . .

"Kelley Eubanks created this lovely one-layer card to celebrate Spring. Love the subtle distressing and the earthtone colors;"
SUPPLIES:  Soft Wings 40-099 and Gratitude 30-105.

And new 6x6 paper pads from Kaisercraft will be at the store tomorrow . . . Dianne is very anxious to show them to you!

That's all for tonight. We had our first full day in Orlando, Florida with our granddaughter Cecilia today. She has become quite the baby girl from the newborn baby when we last saw Cecilia in Milan last November. We're looking forward to another happy day with her tomorrow.
