Art 'n Soul will be closed this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) to allow our wonderful staff to enjoy Christmas with their families. We'll re-open at 10:00 a.m. on Monday morning, December 26.

Valentine's Day is our next annual event to celebrate. Memory Box is wasting no time to introduce their new "Love" dies. Susie saw the sneak peek this morning! We think you're going to be as excited about these new designs as the staff. I'm so excited about them that I'm going to schedule a Valentine's class . . . watch for the date!

In the meantime, you might want to grab a pen and paper to take notes . . . as Susie says, "we're die'ing to get these!"

All it needs is a photo. I used lots of the lovely Christmas papers from Graphic 45 and a metal flower. Chipboard tags and holly flourish from Imaginarium Designs. I love eclectic bits and pieces and this project gave me the perfect chance to use lots." -Jane Tregenza

Team Graphic 45

I am always impressed with the creativity of the Graphic 45 Design Team, and I always enjoy looking at their works of paper crafting art. Just think of the possibilities when you combine the Graphic 45 paper products and the unending techniques, mediums and other products from Art 'n Soul . . . wow!

And it's always even more WOW when we combine the artistic stamps from Magenta and the 'outside the box' techniques we learn from Helene Metivier when she teaches at Art 'n Soul.

Here's the blog posting from Magenta . . .

Christmas Cards

"Hello! Today I'm presenting you 2 very easy Christmas cards...even the kids could make them.
For the first one, you just have to roll bands of paper and cut at different lenght to create a Christmas tree. After you only have to decorate to your liking. A little hint... it's easier to roll all the bands at the same size and cut after... cause rolling a half inch piece of paper is quite a challenge :). Just as a reference my papers were 3" wide.

This card was made with the new Color me Softly Paper collection and decorated with the matching cork designs.

For the second card, I used 5 square piece of paper of different size that I folded to create little 3D triangle (an origami technique found on the internet a
few years back already...)

Then I assembled everything and decorated again with cork! The papers are from the Winter Dreams Collection.

Have fun creating and Happy holidays with your family!"
