Marj's stencil class next Tuesday evening, November 15, has a couple of openings left. If you haven't seen the sample cards, you should come into the store and take a look. There are some new stenciling techniques using metal that Marj is going to teach . . . as with all of Marj's classes, I'm sure you'll be disappointed if you miss it. I'll try to post a pic of one of her sample cards tomorrow night. Look for Dreamweaver's Colorful Christmas class board!

The Artful Stamper is a new company we're anxious to start ordering stamps from. Many of the cards that Susie, Helene and I admired so much at Mimi's in Montreal used stamped images from The Artful Stamper. Their catalog arrived and is all set for you to browse through and write up a pink sheet order. This is a sample card they sent us with the catalog . . .

Come and take a look . . . The Artful Stamper is an 'open catalog' company this month.

Customers have been streaming in and out of the store all day long to pick up their orders and to find more goodies from Elizabeth Craft Designs and/or Flower Soft. The peel-off's are flying out the door, especially the 'gem' strips of either individual gems or the gem chains . . . they are absolutely gorgeous! And the Flower Soft Diamond Range colors are going fast as well.

Here's a card Dianne made up using the Christmas Flower Soft . . .

Marj has been busy making a couple of sample cards using the same Impression Obsession stamp.

Saturday, November 19, 1-3 p.m., Diane R.
“MEMORY BOX MEETS TIM HOLTZ”, $30

Students will repurpose this 12 page book using the Valise papers from Memory Box as well as some of the new dies.  We will add the stamps of Tim Holtz to enhance this book.  Additionally each student will make 2 cards to go with the book.  One feature of this project is the distressing of the papers.  Each student must bring a cutting mat and cutting knife to class, as well as the basic class kit.

From Webster's Pages' blog:

(By the way, the door used on the card is from the sheet of doors in the Botanical Christmas paper collection . . . the same doors we're going to use in my 12 Days of Christmas book class on Sunday, November 20.)

For her final card, Anabelle went with something a bit simpler making it easy to duplicate:

Step One: Emboss the cardstock and adhere it to the card.

Step Two: Cut out the door from a sheet of Botanical Christmas paper and adhere it over the embossed design.

Step Three: Cut the red gems from the Dazzle-Me Gem strip and add them to the wreath. Top it off with a punched snowflake and a larger gem in the center.

Step Four: Print your sentiment onto cardstock and layer it onto the door.

Easy. As. Christmas. Pie.

Annabelle does beautiful work and her blog, Bits and Pieces, can be seen by clicking on this link . . . http://anabelleom.blogspot.com/

One last photo to post from our friend Etsumi in Japan:

I titled this "busted!"
