I was going through some of my photos from the trip to Japan, and wanted to share this picture of a very colorful spider. Kazuko, who was with us, told me it is a Joro Spider, a member of the golden orb-web spider group and is well-favored in Japan. The unusual structure of the web has 3 layers: the central orb, plus 2 irregular layers in front and behind the orb. (from Wikpedia)

More Karen Lockhart stamps arrived the other day. Better hurry in for best selection . . . you know, they don't last long!
And a last-minute reminder . . . today is Play Day at Art 'n Soul. Come on over and 'play'!
