What happens when you combine Paper Parachute and Magenta stamps?

that frames the stamped images. The background stamp
is from Paper Parachute; the floral bouquet is
from Magenta. Colored with Spica glitter pens.

Journey

The background of my card and the inspiration for this card are from the Brioche 6x6 papers. There is a combination of blues, red tones, and creamy yellow all blended in the papers and they are all beautiful.

Recipe:

1. Stamp the Circle Word Background E1711 using Versafine Vintage Sepia  pigment ink. Mask and sponge Memento Rich Cocoa and Ranger Distress Inks Wild Honey over the stamped circle. 
2. Stamp the Eiffel Tower D1723 using the brown pigment ink on the Brioche paper and cut out.
3. Die cut the bird using Sizzix Caged Bird Die Cut from the Brioche paper. (Loved how I accidentally cut the wing in red and the bird in the creamy yellow)
4. Stamp Journey Collage G1733 onto the bird and another piece of the Brioche paper using the brown pigment ink. 
5. Cut out a mat for the sentiment and the background from a Red Pepper card base. Cut the card base from Truffle Soiree cardstock. (5 1/2" x 5 1/2")
6. Distress edges of all pieces of Brioche using brown dye ink.
7. Cut the word Journey from the stamped  paper. Mount onto backgrounds and onto card.
8. Assemble card.
9. Accent with a few buttons and twine.

Heart full of Love - Hello from sunny San Diego!

Today I want to share with you a card made using two of my current favorite Memory Box stamps.



I started by cutting a sheet of the Onxy shimmer paper in half, to create an A2 card.  Next
I used the Tonic Corner Punch Fleur on the outside corners of the card.  I then cut a piece of cream paper to 4 1/4" x 3 3/4".  I stamped Daphne Heart(E1422) in VersaFine Onyx Black in the center.  I then used Marvy Matachables English Red to stamp the Wild Roses(D1327) in the corners.  Then stippled the red around the edges of the heart.  I attached the Cream peice of paper to the onxy card base then used Diamond Stickles to accent the center of some of the flowers in the heart. 

These beautiful samples certainly provide inspiration on how to use your stash of floral, fauna, bird, heart, monument and word stamps! The designers at Memory Box did an awesome job!
