StampsHeart Strip Double Heart Strip Heart Flowers Sq. Lg. Heart Chain Heart Square Lg. Heart-Collage-Sq. Lg. You will need to make two boxes. One for the top and one for the bottom. For an easier fit the bottom paper should be about a 1/4" smaller than the top paper. So, if the top paper is 8 1/2" x 8 1/2", then the bottom paper is 8 1/4" x 8 1/4". If the fit is still too tight, simply cut another smaller piece of paper.

I believe I am back among the living, almost! Since our return, we've been busy with holiday fun with family to make up for our absence . . . and then ringing in the New Year . . . what a night that was! We had a nice dinner at a bistro in Puyallup, followed by the 9:40 p.m. showing of True Grit (great movie!). We came out to a clear and beautiful 25-degree night in the parking lot and everything was closed, i.e., two cocktail lounges we had planned to venture into for the midnight toast. We saw fireworks in the sky, so we figured it must have been midnight and we were hugging in the parking lot. Two blocks from the cinema, we saw a Mexican restaurant that appeared open. We pulled in, parked the cars, entered the restaurant looking for the bar, and had to find someone to answer our "hello, are you open" questions. It took 4 people before we were understood. Alas, the restaurant and bar were closed. However, they invited us to the back banquet room for their Mexican New Year's Eve Party, complete with salsa band. The six of us must have looked like we landed on another planet (or homeless); the staff immediately took care of us by handing out the champagne cups and we watched the countdown on KING-5 television at the Space Needle. We sat at a table, put the celebration tiaras and hats on, ordered some wine and my Diet Pepsi, and munched on tortilla chips and salsa. To say the evening was hilarious is an understatement of the fun that is derived from spontaneity!
I'm hoping to find my way to Art 'n Soul tomorrow to put out the paper and ribbon goodies that arrived while I've been away. And sometime soon, small orders from Karen Lockhart Stamps and Hero Arts will find their way to the store.
I hope that every day in the new year brings you moments that you will cherish and, that together, will create a wonderful and delightful 2011.
