Sue discovered a new product that will be so easy to travel with:  Pearl Ex Watercolor CD Series -- Metallic watercolors for paper. They arrived today and only 2 are left; hurry in to purchase your set. If you're too late, Sue has already started an order for more sets.

The Pearl Ex Watercolor CD has 12 great Pearl Ex colors packaged as a watercolor palette. Simply mix with a little water and paint onto paper. Perfect for the artist on the go—just pop it into your bag and take it anywhere! Wet brush and mix to a creamy smooth consistency. Apply to paper, cardstock, etc. Clean up with water.

Colors:  Pewter; Periwinkle; Dark Peach; White; Baja Blue; Fuchsia; Coral; Raspberry; Dark Rose; Wheat; Apple Green; Aqua

In addition to the Pearl Ex, more Sakura Glaze pens were delivered to the store today. They're perfect for your holiday cards . . . Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas . . . or any other special occasion this fall.

Here's another sample using one of the new Paper Parachute stamps (floral stamp set) and Paper Parachute papers. More wired ribbon has arrived that you can use when you make your special cards for special events and/or people. It's difficult to see all of the details . . . Spellbinder Nestabilities Label One was used as a frame (nesting 2 sizes at the same time) and foam tape was used to mount to the center of the card at a diagonal. Copic color markers were used to color petals and flourishes. Stardust pens were used for the flower center and outlines of the larger flourish lines. Wired ribbon bow was added to the angled side with a "zot" adhesive. A very simple and quick card to make.

Technical difficulties prevented the store from printing out the Impression Obsession catalog supplement that has so many new stamps you'll want to get; Susie will have to add another storage area to her house to accommodate all of the ones she's ordering for her personal use. Susie has printed out the supplement catalog at home and will bring it to the store sometime tomorrow. So come on in  . . .  you'll want to spend a few or several minutes drooling over these new stamp designs . . . I certainly did!
It's nice to be back from Branson, Missouri. I visited their scrapbooking/rubber stamping store. It had a lot of papers and stamps, but nothing like the variety of products available at Art 'n Soul. We hope you appreciate the fact that Art 'n Soul emphasizes a variety of techniques to learn and use in your rubber stamping and paper crafting, and we carry the products to support them. We're always looking for more techniques that can be taught at Art 'n Soul, too.

Calendar Reminder:  Art 'n Soul's Christmas Party on Saturday, October 30, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Be sure you've added this event to your busy schedule.
