Today, September's Inspiration Station at Art 'n Soul will unveil cards created by the artistic staff at Art 'n Soul. This month's Inspiration Station features stamp and die sets from Hero Arts, "Autumn" (CL882) and "Autumn Frame Cuts" (D1156).

This past Saturday, the sounds of fun and creation were abuzz at Art 'n Soul. Lisa Lee of Inchie Arts brought her Inchie Photo Mosaic Card class to Art 'n Soul and it was a hit!

I forgot to take pics of my cards, so I'll post those next time. This class was so delightful because it was another "take" on the previous class we've enjoyed from Lisa at Art 'n Soul in the past.

Lisa's next class at Art 'n Soul will be a photo collage, using the Art Squares in different sizes from Inchie Arts, that will be framed! Lisa is thinking about the theme and will be sending the description to the store very soon. In the meantime, we're taking a list of names! The class will be held on Saturday, November 21, at Art 'n Soul; the actual class time is still under consideration. I've signed up; Pam has signed up; as well as a few others. You won't want to miss this one. I snuck up to another store on Sunday to take this class from Lisa and I can honestly say "it's THE best"!

Mary Prasad has created a fantastic Halloween card using the Garden Bench die from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I know many of our customers purchased this die when it was first available. How fun to surprise someone with this!

There's something so classic about "clean and simple" and I loved this card by Deepti Malik. I can think of some similar one-word stamps in my stash that I could use to create a card similar to this one; if you don't have a one-word stamp that you'd want to use, you may always stop in at Art 'n Soul to look for one!

Most recently, this colorful card was featured on the Magenta blog. There's nothing else that will attract my attention more than the color combination she's used on this card!

Working on a card for friends who are house looking. I recall being sent numerous times to a house that wasn't even close to what we were looking for, or finding out our house was shown to people not even looking for our style of house. So I made this card and had to settle for a handwritten sentiment.

Sorry for the absence this last week. It was a long week of having to do too much away from the studio and house. I'm hoping for a little calmer time now that this week is behind me, almost! I'm away today but to have loads of fun . . . I'm taking Lisa Lee's Inchie Arts' Mosaic Card Class at Art 'n Soul. It's always a popular class.

If you haven't stopped in at Art 'n Soul lately, there are some new treasures from Impression Obsession, Balzer Designs (I just purchased a wonderful stamp set of hers), Rosie's Roadshow, and the highly sought after Crazy Bird stamps and dies from Ranger (the remaining part of our order is supposed to be at the store on Monday). Dianne will be at the store all day to help you find just what you're looking for!
