So, let's try this again!

It's now the first of June . . . I think all we did was blink and the month of May disappeared. Art 'n Soul's Inspiration Station will resume on June 15 with a new 'inspiration.'

In the meantime, you will be inspired by everything we learned this past weekend at Art 'n Soul's Magenta classes. Helene showed us old and new techniques, and a fabulous new product. The new product developed by Magenta is Nuance, a colored powder that is activated by water and produces vivid colors.

These are photos of the student's work-in-progress for the "Watercolor Techniques with Helene" class on Saturday morning and repeated again tonight. These are only the card top panels; everyone was having so much fun making watercolor panels that we didn't leave any time to actually make the finished card. None of these are in finished form. As you scroll through all of these, you'll see that everyone had a different take on the techniques.

Tomorrow, I'll share pics from Magenta's "Stormy Skies" class at Art 'n Soul on Saturday afternoon.

Before the afternoon class started, Sam Lee shared her recent wood carvings of birds.

On the Hero Arts blog, Cheiron Brandon has made a very nice 'unisex' birthday card. I especially like this card because green is one of my favorite colors!

I am going to cross my fingers that this will post. After working on it all afternoon yesterday, I tried all evening and this morning to get it to save and post. It's being stubborn but I hope I win this attempt!
