"Color white card stock using various Pan Pastel shades of
blue and green; spray with fixative. Spray stencil with Easy
Tack. Place stencil, tacky-side down, on card stock. Use finger
dauber to sponge VersaMark over open spaces on stencil.
Color all spaces with Pan Pastels; then remove stencil.
Spray with fixative. Stamp sentiment with VersaMark
on vellum and emboss with Ranger's Black Sparkle
embossing powder. Fold edges of vellum over the base
layer and adhere on the back. Cut a piece of fun foam
slightly smaller than the base and adhere to base, and then
to pink Skin card stock. Adhere to card. Add accents."

Marsha Volk has given a preview of one of the upcoming new dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs. She has cleverly used a die on shrink plastic so the die cut can be sized appropriately for a necklace. In addition to wanting this new die when it becomes available, I might have to give another 'look' at the dies I do have -- you might want to as well!

On the Dreamweaver Stencil blog, Lynell used the treeline stencil as the base for her zentangled™ Earth Day card. She also used the Picasso stencil upside-down for the cloud patterns.

I keep forgetting that the background stamp designs really lend themselves as the perfect backdrop for a stamp design that you really really want to feature. This is an excellent example of what can be done.
